"Friends".....

(inside) ....share their lunch!

You can tell by the image and colors in my card that I am sooooooo ready for summer!  The image reminds me of my school friend, Angela, who shares her lunch with me when I rush in to the high school at the last minute to sub and don't have time to prepare a meal.  She always shares her food...now that's a friend!

Doodle Pantry is having a challenge (#11).....just use any of their images...easy peasy! When you post your card, you will be sent their newest release...FREE!  I used a Silhouette watermelon svg(for lack of better term).  I love this paper...it really made my mouth water and hunger for some fresh fruit and wishing I was in Florida with my son and DIL.

Ingredients: die cut, punch, rhinestones, paper flowers, word embellishment, stitching, some copics.

  6. Oh Cely this is DARLING! You know I love Doodle Pantry digital images, I'm working with one right now in fact :) lol

Thanks for visiting my blog today and leaving a comment for me. You asked if I did the clouds myself. Yes, and I have a video tutorial so you can see how I made them too :) Here's a link for you: http://jans-gonestampin.blogspot.com/2011/08/copic-cloud-tutorial.html

Also thanks for commenting about my husbands' prostate cancer. My dad died of prostate cancer 4 years ago so the diagnosis was really scarey. My husbands cancer is in the beginning stages my dad's was not. I've learned a lot and we're hopeful he'll be cancer free for the glory of God one day!

    Hugs, Jan

  12. Lovin' those colors and I'll join you in summer ;- ) We have a sunny day and beautiful blue sky, but if you look down, it's brown :- ( You can't be fooled for long, ha ha. You still have me beat by 15 degrees today though, but that's no where near summer for either of us ;- ) Though not a bad winter for me. Have a glorious day, Cely!

  14. Hi Cely, that card makes me long for summer and some fresh fruit from our garden as well, especially the strawberries and raspberries. I love the colours, fresh bright and almost smelling the fruit. Not long now before it all warms up over here, some flowers are already out and make everything look cheerful.
