Winter Winter Snow Snow

We seem to always squeak by in the South from getting snow, but we still love winter scenes so I tried to capture the moment in this card.

The HOLIDAY REINDEER svg is by Lori at Doodle Pantry.  The tree dies are from Impression Obsession.  I just love this deer...very versatile!

Be sure to join us in the January Doodle Pantry Challenge #42.  You have a chance to win a gift certificate to the store and receive "free" the specially selected set just by following the guidelines.

Snow Shaker Card

It's been a long time since I have made a shaker card.  What better time than now with winter upon us.  Here in the South, we can only hope to get a glimpse of a few snowflakes.

Doodle Pantry has this fun set called Igloo Fun. The set has lots of goodies like the outline and pre-colored images, sentiments and coordinating papers.  There is still time to join in on the January Challenge #42.  You have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Doodle Pantry Store and a free set just by following the guidelines for the challenge.

Prancing through the snow

My brother Ray and SIL Dawn live in Little Compton, Rhode Island.  They get their fair share of snow.  I love visiting during the winter months since snow is a rarity in SC.  Anyhooooo, how wonderful it is to see falling snow with deer running through the backyard.  Other than not putting a stone wall in the scene, one would think they were in their backyard in the card.

The Holiday Deer is a wonderful svg and pdf file being offered by Doodle Pantry in this month's release.  I'm not using the file so much for Christmas but for January and February cards being sent to my "snowbird" family and friends up north.

Join us for our Doodle Pantry #42 Challenge with a chance to win a gift certificate to the store and receive "free" selected set just for you participation and following the guidelines.

Signing Off....

....for a few days!

Our big move, emotionally and physically has arrived.  After 29 years in this home, raising our boys, and making memories, it time for the next chapter in our lives.....watching the grandchildren grow, our young men spreading their wings and for Don and I to make new memories....just at a slower pace...haha

Our new house/cottage is a little behind schedule due to all the rain rain rain! We will be homeless for at least two months but finding refuge with family and friends.

I hope I can get my computer up and running in a few days if nothing else to visit blogs and comment.

Have a great week and wish us an easy move...haha

A Little Something....

Inside:  ...for one of those days that just stinks!

Almost packed to move, but still had a little time to make a card with this pretty little Card Cut File #2 svg set released this month at Doodle Pantry.  The darling skunk is also from the January Release called Silly Critters.

Come join us for the Doodle Pantry January Challenge #42.  You will have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the store as well as received "free" the selected set just for your participation and following the guidelines...using a Doodle Pantry image.

What's Up?

.....my son's 31st birthday! Just seems like yesterday. He's now back in college working on his Master's in a specialized nursing field and he and his darling wife just had their first baby.....my first grandchild.

They are both dog lovers so I thought this was the perfect birthday card for him.  This has just been officially re- introduced at Doodle Pantry.  The set is called Mr. Spike.  It comes with an array of elements, images (outline and pre-colored) and co-ordinating papers.  I just love this little guy!

Need a Boo Boo Friend?

My dear SIL had another foot surgery and pretty much looks like Boo Boo Birdie from the New Release Set premiering today at Doodle Pantry.  This SIL jet-sets all over the world on business so this foot situation is really "dragging her down" and cramping her style..lol

All craft supplies were packed up upon creating this card, but I found some paper and buttons in a bookcase and I never packed up my Cameo so I made some crutches.  The format is in Studio.  If you want it, just email me and I will send....DON'T leave a message in the comment box since it does not afford me your email address.

Doodle Pantry Challenge #42 starts today at 12 noon.  Just for your participation you will have a great chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the store and receive FREE the selected set just for following certain guidelines.
