Gift Box ...and roses at Christmas

I am totally amazed at these 2 roses blooming just days before Christmas.  Being in SC, this is something you just wouldn't see.  They are a little worse for wear but I'm so proud of them putting up a fight and blooming at Christmas....so I had to share a picture of them along with the other darling, quick, easy box I made to hold a little gift for my DL.

SVGCuts offered this beautiful "One-Piece Box" set for FREE.  I do not know if they are still available, but it would be worth you while to check it out.  These boxes are great for male or female as you can tell by the box I made for my son on yesterday's post.

What a wonderful FREE gift box set.

Gift Box

One-Piece Boxes
from
SVGCUTS.com

Mary and Leo, owners of SVGCuts, offered this marvelous set of one-piece boxes for free....as a thank you and Merry Christmas.  I'm not sure if it is still free, so you had better hurry over NOW to check out.

I needed something quick and simple for a last minute gift card holder for my son for Christmas.  He loves Lowe's so I whipped out this "man paper" and made this box.  Mary was ABSOLUTELY right....it's quick, simple and darling.  I also made Box #5 for my DL that I will post later.

I'm back!

Gosh....had a wonderful time in Rhode Island, especially since it was not ME having all the surgeries.  I missed so much.  I appreciate all the lovely comments left on my blog and apologize for not being able to reciprocate.  I will gradually start visiting blogs that I have missed.

I'll be there with bells on!!!

NEW RELEASE DAY
at Paper Pretties

My time (6 months) with Paper Pretties has just about come to an end.  I have really enjoyed working with the design team and ARTish at Paper Pretties.  Loving all the images over the past months made the time go by toooo fast.  You will see more Paper Pretty images, but I'll be in the challenges just like you...lol  This particular image, Emalina Elf, has to be one of my all time favorites over these past 6 months.  The adorable smile on the character is contagious! Remember, each image comes with several sentiments. (I hope you can see the tiny bells on the elf's feet....they really jingle!)

Head over to Paper Pretties and take part in the fun challenge...red, white and color of your choice.

ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE
at Catch the Bug

Beautiful Blocks - Faith is in the Beautiful Blocks series just recently added to Bugaboo Stamps.  I always find sympathy cards the hardest to make and usually make them on a "need to" bases.  I don't generally see sympathy card challenges; however, I see some "Thinking of You" challenges now and then.

I made this card for my brother-in-law who recently lost his daughter.  I wrote my personal sentiment after the picture of card was taken so that's why it looks a little plain.

Fall time and turkey time nearing, so strut on over to Catch The Bug and enjoy seeing lots of projects.

All Wrapped Up

NEW RELEASE DAY
at Paper Pretties

I chose to make a tree ornament and/or tag from one of today's new releases at Paper Pretties. My DIL loves moose images.  It will be a great little tag for her Christmas present. Part of the challenge for Paper Pretties is to use ribbon.  I added holly, red jewel beads and glitter, along with pop-ups for dimension and, of course, my beloved copics...lol

Join in on the fun challenge and check out other design team members projects HERE.

Headed to Rhode Island

Yup....Rhode Island here I come.  I am a warm-climate girl, but I will take my underalls to keep me warm. I am helping family (in-laws) and look forward to seeing them.  MAYBE this Southern girl will see some snow.  I will be gone for 9 days so I will not be posting many cards except the ones I already have on auto-pilot for the next few days.  This will give me lots of time to visit a lot of blogs and your creations.

I have my IPad2 to keep me company, along with my copics and some images to color during "down time".
I'm not a good flyer.
