Super Job

A quick little card, rushing to meet to 2 challenge deadlines.  I already know who I need to send this little card too.  This person has done a "Super Job" in helping us move.

The image is called Super Birdbrain from From the Heart digital stamps. I'm entering this card in their Super Birdbrain challenge.  I'm also entering the Aud Sentiment Challenge 109: use 2 word sentiment.

I'm falling in love with these little From the Heart images.  My friend enjoys her glass of wine (every now and then) so I added the wine glass.  I used copic markers, glitter on belt, glossy accents on wine glass and eyes for dimension.  The sentiment was cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

A2, pearls, stitching, glitter pen, glossy accents, Cameo cutter Fiskar scallop punch.  The inside sentiment says, " I'll drink to that!"

You can bug me any time!

Getting my feet wet by making this card after a 5 month absence.  Just a few funny, sweet cards using one of the darling images released this month at Doodle Pantry that I plan to send out to a few friends.  It's called Classic Bug...a great set with different color beetle bug cars, sentiments, papers, and a gas can image. I chose the pink pre-colored image along with the matching designer paper.

I added the flowers because my red Volkswagon beetle had a little vase in it for flowers.  I think they all come with the vase...never really understood why...haha

Come join us for the June Doodle Pantry Challenge No. 47....it's not too late and who doesn't like to get more inspiration and a free select set!

PS  Lola, at Little Card Maker,  card  was my inspiration.  I need help getting my mojo back and so many of yals' creations are doing just that.  Thank you.

A2 size, Memory Box Prim Poppy die, Poppystamps Gentle Leaf die, Martha Stewart car die cut on silver foil., stitching, pop-ups for dimension, Stampin Up window punch

Background paper from Hobby Lobby, circles and car shadow cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

OMG....Hello Hello

Yes, it's been six months.  I was in the midst of selling our house and building a new house when things went askew.  The house sold before our house was built which left us homeless.  I moved in with different friends during that time while my DH took up residence with one of his friends.

Internet was troublesome....  internet usage was minimal in some locations.

Once into our new house, there was lots of unpacking and finding items.  Then...my biggest trouble began.  I was losing my sight in one eye. Example, if I was looking at a car or a person, I could only see 1/2 of them and any image left was very distorted.  I was diagnosed with being in the stage 4 of having a macular  hole.  Two surgeons teamed up and they preformed their miracles.  Recovery was 4 weeks. I won't go into detail, but the weird things you have to do for a good recovery is weird and hard.  Anyhoooo, the gas bubble implanted in my eye was a success and now gone and the stitches in my eye have been removed.  My vision will improve over the next 6 months - 1 year.

I don't know where/how to begin with my card making.  I hope it's like bicycle riding and I will feel comfortable soon.  I am getting ready to make a card....almost scary...haha

Thanks to all for the support and Doodle Pantry for letting me take the time off to move and recover.... A wonderful leader and team there.

OK...time to go make a card!!!!!!!!
