Learn to Swerve

This little die has a lot of meaning to me.  I met my husband in 1969 at Pawleys Island, SC.  He had driven by our beach house in a baby blue VW Beetle.  It was an awesome summer before I headed off to college.  OK....I'm telling my age now.

I found this VW Beetle die at Aliexpress called Highway Road Car.  The center VW Beetle represents Clemson University.  Go Tigers! The yellow represent my happy color.

A2, Paper Smooches sentiment, cloud punch, pop- up dots for dimension,
stitching on border

This is for my grandson Wyatt

  1. Although I'm a Gator fan I can still appreciate a good Clemson tiger paw and the story AND the cute card. [Bunny]

  2. Awww how cute is that - as in your story. Such a romance! And of course your card is so sweet too! We always play slug bug when out and about and these bugs create real competition. So, does he still have the blue one?

I love your cards, Cely! The gingham cloud is inspired!!

  5. How cute, Cely! I love the bright colors and the message is perfect. We have resurfaced. No Internet access the last few weeks. We are presently in Boston visiting our sons for one last weekend before we start the trek back home. But I finally have Internet again. Only 800 messages that I need to sort through. Oh my! Hope all is well. Getting excited about getting back to normal!
