It's Been Nuts Doodle Pantry (more)

Yup...another card with Just Nutty from Doodle Pantry.  And yup...another shaker card.  This time I put in some nuts from the set into the shaker area and used door insulation for the separation in the shaker area.  It worked great but it will cost and extra $.20 to mail, but a small price to pay to put a smile on someone's face.  Unless I'm ordering crafting goodies, the rest is a bill or ad in MY mailbox.

It's truly been a little nuts around here.  I just got back from another mini vacation to the beach and I'm a little behind in my chores and in commenting and making cards.

PS...Still a few days left to join our fun September Doodle Pantry Challenge #50.

Just Nutty from Doodle Pantry

Just Nutty is one of Doodle Pantry's mid-September releases.  I took the nut cluster and masked it to make individual nuts I could use.  If you look around, you can see a nut in the palm of both squirrels and resting upon the "n" in the fun sentiment.  The jar image is from Doodle Pantry's Bottles & Jar set.  One squirrel is sitting atop the jar lid.  I used pop-ups and extra images of nuts and squirrel/limb for a little added dimension.

PS....there's still time to join our September Doodle Pantry Challenge #50.  Great opportunity for a chance to win a GC and/or a free selected stamp set provided you use a Doodle Pantry image and there are free ones in the store if you don't have one already.

A2, copics for sky, pop-ups, stitching, raffeta, white highlights, ink pen for grass that you can't really see due to raffeta...lol

took pic outside just for fun

Pistachio Salad - Summer Yum (Part 2 of 3)

Today's addition to the salad is a pistachio nut.  I will emboss the little nuts and add shadowing along with  faces.  Download HERE for the pistachio nut.  Stayed tuned...hehe
I am doing my first challenge with Sketch and Bubbles (snbshop.blogspot) .  I was to use this Fluffy Bird.  I also used a tree svg I created, copic markers, and punches along with the swinging monkey stamp.

Baseball Nut - 1st Digi Stamp

This is my first digi stamp...ok...it may be my last.  I can't begin to tell you the hours I spent on this little guy.  Obviously, I'm a amateur since no one would spend this much time on drawing, taking into Inkscape, tracing with bezier tool, etc. and then give away free.  He needs a hat, so I'm taking him back into Inkscape.  In the mean time, I was so proud of myself for this accomplishment, I had to share now.  I'm sure it will be fun to look back in a year to see how I have progress or given up.  I REALLY need to know the secrets of digi stamp creators. If you would like the digi stamp, email me and I will be happy to send. ( The baseball is from svgcuts.com Sports and the diamond plate was a freebie from them.)

Beach Nut

If you know me, then you know how I love the beach.  I should have made this little peanut's arms and legs GREEN.  I'm a gal from the South....and we Southerns love hot boiled green peanuts.  Boiled peanuts and "shrimp and grits" are a "MUST" for any true Southern wedding reception or any "good" party.  Download HERE for peanut sitting in chair, glasses, arms, and legs.  Download HERE for umbrella. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and I hoped it made you smile!

I'm Nuts for Grapefruit

Yup...I eat a grapefruit every morning.  I wish I lived in Florida because one grapefruit can cost me $1.50 sometimes. I had fun with the Sour Lemon svg from Svgcuts.com.  I used the  mosaic embossing folder on this peanut card.   I want to try my hand at making some digi stamps with the peanut.
The arms and legs should really be GREEN.  I guess I made him "dry roasted". Down here in the South, we like nothing better than a big bag of hot boiled green peanuts....yum yum.  I even have my northern relatives liking them which means, "I have to share now".  It is considered "a must" along with "shrimp and grits" at Southern weddings.  Download HERE for peanut and body parts.  Thanks for visiting my site.
