Charlie Bee

I pulled out "real stamps", not digi...haha!  I used the triple layered method which I haven't done in several years.   I used Charlie Bee from Doodle Pantry.

I cased Evelyn which may had not been politically correct since it is her challenge, CUT IT UP #68,  I am entering. I enjoy entering challenges but had found myself sometimes creating a card I was not ever wanting to use, just to enter a challenge.  I am trying hard now not to do that, so if another person's card pleases me, I want to case knowing I'll use it.  I DO try to add a little of ME in it.

A2, yellow sickles, ribbon, pop-ups for dimension, homemade enamel dots.  The outline is grey (form of black) since I was allowed no white.  I always thought white was allowed no matter what, but I didn't want to take the chance.

I found this challenge hard since I was not allowed white since it would be an extra color.  Having to use a die cut (Charlie Bee) his legs were too skinny to cut without having some shadow.  I had to turn the leaf yellow on the flower stem, but I will color over with green before sending.  Thanks Evelyn for a challenging challenge...haha

Tags for pies and goodies

2nd post today!

I finally bought a new freezer.  When I moved, I really thought I could live without one.  I was in denial....for I love baking, freezing and giving gifts of food to my college son and friends.  With the smoked turkey leftover from Thanksgiving, I made many smoked turkey pot pies.  My freezer is full of Shepard's Pie, Chicken Pot Pies, Coconut Pies, Pumpkin Rolls, spaghetti, lots of different soups and the list goes on and on.

Anyhooo, my family and friends don't swap Christmas presents, but what is allowed anywhere from Dec. 1 - Jan.31, homemade goodies for the giving.  Yum Yum  And, that's where Charliene Baking from Doodle Pantry comes in to play.  Laurie does a wonderful job with her images and coloring so this image was perfect for quick little tags for some of the food.  I chose NOT to use traditional Christmas colors since some of the goodies might not be given till after Christmas.

Be sure to join in on our fun December Challenge #53 for a change to win a GC.

3x4 tags, copics for some shadow coloring stitched dies from Lil Inker

Charlie Autumn (wheat) Doodle Pantry

Charlie Horse was the first stamp I bought on-line and now it is making a come back at Doodle Pantry in digital form.  This girl is happy!!!This one is called Charlie Autumn.  I also used Fall Patterns set.

I totally cased my friend Lola at Little Card Maker.  Yup, instant love for her card and interacting card design.  Find the tutorial HERE.  I love using Print & Cut on my Cameo while also making extra cuts so these were leftovers that came together quickly for a card I can't wait to send to a friend who loves horses.
A2, grass die cut, vellum punched clouds with white wet embossing

raffeta, pop-ups for dimension, FALL cut with Cameo

Charlie Horse Autumn

Yup, the leaves are turning beautiful colors and falling.  Saturday, I strolled my 1 year old grand-daughter through piles of leaves as we enjoyed the sounds of crunching leaves.  I let her crush leaves with her little hands. Yup, it was a great day!

Well, here's Charlie Horse doing the same thing...sorta.  Nothing like a good back rub!

A2 vertical, MB birdhouse and tree, grass die, pop-up die

leaves from Fiskar Fall border punch

Outside of card, leaves and acorns from Silhouette Store, I made the words with Studio, raffetta, pop-ups for dimension

FARM Theme (Card Swap)

I participated in my first card swap at svgcuts.com.  I was so excited that I joined 2 strings, so I had to create 2 different cards.  We had to use a "farm" theme.  I used elements from the cute Grandpa's Organic Farm Collection  and Crafty Mice Set . I designed my own farmer's hat for the male mouse in Inkscape, as well as the straw and basket for the watermelons. (Download HEREfor the hat and straw svgs for mouse and barn.  (Download HERE) for the basket, straw and hat .scut file that is used with SCAL2.  The second card is a slider card. I must say, I had a fun time! Come and join in on the fun!

Stamps for watermelon and "saying" are from "Fresh from the Farm".  Charlie Horse and "saying" were from the Charlie Horse Collection.  Both can be purchased at  cleardollarstamps .
