Charlie Horse Sparkle Shaker Card

My first purchase on-line was Charlie Horse by Laurie at Doodle Pantry (at the time she was with Clear Dollar Stamps).  Here is Charlie Bee all sparkled up!

I'm using a fuzing technique.  I ordered the We R Memories Photo Sleeve Fuze. While waiting, I used my seal-a-meal machine. I was able to make a thin shaker card completely sealed.  I used a clear envelop, put in my glitter and then sealed.  For sure nothing will fall out.

Don't forget our Ants in My Pantry Digital Challenge #7 at Doodle Pantry.  Get chance for a GC and even more surprises/chances if you use a Doodle Pantry image (not text).

"sparkle" is shiny green but had to see, Lil Inker Stitched Rectangle dies, word cut in Silhouette, sequins and glitter sequins by Martha Stewart

Charlie Bee

I pulled out "real stamps", not digi...haha!  I used the triple layered method which I haven't done in several years.   I used Charlie Bee from Doodle Pantry.

I cased Evelyn which may had not been politically correct since it is her challenge, CUT IT UP #68,  I am entering. I enjoy entering challenges but had found myself sometimes creating a card I was not ever wanting to use, just to enter a challenge.  I am trying hard now not to do that, so if another person's card pleases me, I want to case knowing I'll use it.  I DO try to add a little of ME in it.

A2, yellow sickles, ribbon, pop-ups for dimension, homemade enamel dots.  The outline is grey (form of black) since I was allowed no white.  I always thought white was allowed no matter what, but I didn't want to take the chance.

I found this challenge hard since I was not allowed white since it would be an extra color.  Having to use a die cut (Charlie Bee) his legs were too skinny to cut without having some shadow.  I had to turn the leaf yellow on the flower stem, but I will color over with green before sending.  Thanks Evelyn for a challenging challenge...haha

Beeutiful Beehive Svg Cut File

I still have friends that are under the weather so this card was still warm when I mailed it out..haha

I think I have moved on to bees this week.  I love yellow, and my yellow daffodils are about to bloom.  I love happy bees like these.  This file is called Beeutiful Beehive Svg Cut File from Doodle Pantry.  I totally cased my friend Lola at Little Card Maker, but can't find the exact post.

The only thing I did a little different was the face.  I used Peachy Keen stamps.

A2, I wish you could see the beautiful glitter wings.  The sentiment is Lawn Fawn Clear Alphabet.

Today starts the Doodle Pantry Challenge #3 Ants in the Pantry.   The theme is "Anything Goes".  Come join the fun and a chance to win a GC to the Doodle Pantry. Store.

Bee Yourself

Saw this darling image called Honey Wings from Lacy Sunshine and knew I had to get her at the special price of $2 and enter her in the Lacy Sunshine Challenge.  The theme:  summer

I kept the card CAS, but had to give her a little fence with flowers to ground her.  I did some stitching, copics coloring, flower punch and fence die, along with glitter for her wings.

A2, small circle burst die, and using the last of the Stampin Up So Saffrom paper.

BEE-utiful day for a birthday!

Warm days last week got our flowers and trees a bloomin! I haven't seen bees, but with flowers blooming, it's just a matter of time.

Our friends in Charleston share a March birthday with me.  Harry just completed a course in "bee keeping", so I thought this theme would be appropriate for his special day.  I love the little honeycomb and bee charm I won on Ebay.

I was inspired by a sketch found on Pinterest and a cut file at the Silhouette Store.  I used a Peachy Keen face stamp, along with a honeycomb embossing folder for wings, EK punches and twine.

What's the buzzzzzzzz

...... in your neck of the woods?

I couldn't help myself....I pulled out an old giraffe cut from Create A Critter from the...hold your breathe....a Cricut cartridge!

I am into CAS cards these past few weeks and wanting to do some fun, silly kind of cards. It was only suppose to have one bee, but when ink falls on your background paper and screws it up, you have to rethink your plan...haha  (I made four of these cards since they were so CAS)...ok...

Can you tell I'm ready for Spring!

You're As Sweet As Can BEE ! and Spring has Sprung

I had a Happy Birthday with the help of my family and friends.... now I'm wanting to send thank you cards and what better way than to also celebrate Spring's arrival.  See how happy the bee is!!  She's already spreading her pollen.....ah choo!
Looking at surveys, yellow is the least used color when making cards and the least favorite of colors chosen by people and card makers.  I love buttercup yellow and how can you not love yellow, even for just a little while, when you see those daffodils jump up, letting us know that Spring is almost here!
This is from Lindy's Stamp Gang called "Queen Bea Bee's Gang".  I printed out a honeycomb design paper, stamped tiny hives (old stamp from AC Moore's), cut with nestabilities, used a McGill tag punch,  MS stem punch, copic markers, rhinestones and glitter pens.  I needed 6 thank you cards, but I need to do some more just to keep "on hand".

Size: A2

I really wanted to get an svg posted right now, but between playing with my new IPAD 2, reading all the stuff on lawsuit against MTC and now SCAL, and the "time change"....well, I'm dragging.

Un "BEE lievable Love

A freebie bee svg!  I cut 2 in SCAL and reversed one to make a mirrored pair.  I plan to put different sentiments on the cards....some more silly...to reach different needs of the military personnel. In order to make a lot, I can't spend too much time on any one, so these are very quickie cards, but I still think nice enough that anyone would enjoy getting....well.... I hope...haha

You're As Sweet As Can BEE !

Bugaboo is having a challenge with the theme "Sweetest Day".  I have yet to win 1st place and receive 7 of their images.....wouldn't that be awesome!  Any howwww, I was putting up my honey jar from the beach trip and thought of this card.  Of course, I didn't have the honey jar or honey stick svgs so I had to make them.  Why is it that I start on a card and don't have the right svg? ( I used svgs, glitter, brad, stitching, Bugaboo butterflybee bear image, dot embossing folder and an easel card.) There was another challenge I was going to add this too but can't find it at the moment...just my luck!
I got my flu shot today and it stung like a bee too...haha!!!
Other challenges: Fabnfunky challenges, Create 4 Fun, Stampin Moments,  Penny's Challenges (as long as it flies) Cute Card Thursday, Mark's Finest Papers, Alphabet challenge "Y" is for yellowDrunken Stamper (food...hope honey can be consider food)

Beezy School Girl

We continue with the "Back to School" theme for a while longer.  Our Team Leader at Scrappily Ever After challenges us and in return we help her challenge others to get the "mojo" flowing to create a card. I got my free little bee and stack of book digi's from Clker.com.  I will entered it into the Bugaboo School Challenge too.
I offered the free bee hive svg many months ago; however, this is new and improved from the last.

Meljen's Design's Template Challenge #18

This littlebee is almost identical to yesterday's bee card.  The Meljen's Design Challenge #18 was to follow the template below, but no color restrictions...these colors are different and I've added  embellishments, diamond glaze for dimension on the cans, along with more pop-ups behind different cuts.  I'm offering the rainbow svg as the freebie.  Off to Scrapbook Creations in Spartanburg, SC...taking my SUV....heard I will need it to haul all my goodies home...haha

I had several request to add outlines for hand-cutting. I will add the Christmas lights and rainbow outlines tomorrow. I did the outline, but when I print they come out wrong size...will work on this.

Download: rainbow svg
I enjoy comments, like you enjoy downloading! Enjoy!

Bee hive

Yup, that time of year.....bees are buzzing and pollinating and love (and pollen) are in the air.  My husband took a great pic of a passing bee (see last week's post).  I plan to use this svg with the picture.  I'm buzzing down to the beach for a few days so I will be posting svgs, but not my cards....think I will post a beach picture just for fun. If you would like the bee hive, then grab HERE and hope you enjoy!  Thank you so much for visiting my site.
