Love Bears All

I'm back with another sweet card kit called Love Bears All from Paper Creators.  I used my Cameo to simply print and cut.  The flowers have been printed and cut 3 times along with the bear's tummy for fun dimension.

Come along and join Challenge #56 at Paper Creator's Crafts. When purchasing an image use CELY for 20% savings.  Becky is not only very talented but very sweet to allow us to offer followers this discount for us being on her design team.

Not a Creature Was Stirring....

It's the beginning of our December Challenge at Paper Creator's Craft #55 - theme - Christmas. This little sleeping creature came from Boozy Christmas Ultimate Kit.  I use A2 Pop Out Book by Lori Whitlock (purchased from Silhouette Store.) I layered him several times for added dimension.

You are welcome to enter CELY in code area for 20% off on your purchase to the store.  A nice little offering by Debbie for us to offer followers.

I'm a Little Behind....

The good news...I did an assembly line of these "belated" birthday cards.  The bad news....I'm a card maker and yet I catch myself being late sending birthday cards!!!

I bought this Inky Antics Bear Butt several years ago but just now using.  Stamping at the Lake caused me to fall in love with the image and the other day, Indiana Inking reminded me so I cased her.

An assembly line and keeping it CAS.

THANKS from the bottom of my BUTT...

(Inside):  ...because my butt is bigger than my heart!

I hope some of my followers "get" my strange sense of humor on this card creation.  I thought QKR's "Sneaking Away digi13310" would be the perfect image to showcase my sentiment.  I plan to entered my card in the QKR Challenge #209: Anything Goes.

I incorporated the Grand Madison Door Die by Poppy Stamps, copics for coloring, Cameo for cutting the bear and pop-ups for dimension.  All four cards came together quickly and are ready to be addressed and mailed to several friends and family members.

21 HUGS....Mitchell (2nd post)

Our youngest is turning 21.   Yup, just seems like yesterday I was holding his hand at the doctor.  Oh wait, that was last week...lol  All kidding aside, he has turned into quite a wonderful young man, and yes I'm partial...he's my son!

Finishing up his card, I see Cut It Up is having Challenge #66 using "Windy" (use something with motion)....PERFECT.  My card has a wobble action spring.  I showed a close up in one of my pics.  I used the Art Impression Bear Hug...sorta like a card I did several weeks ago.  I tried to make the shorts/underwear Mitchell's college colors: garnet and black/grey.

Cut out extra body, bow tie and muzzle to add extra dimension using pop-ups.  If you look close you can see a piece of the clear action wobble

more...Get Well

I printed out about 5 of these images but changed up some of the shirts by using PSE using fun patterns.  I don't think I can have too many "Get Well" cards on hand, but I do need more "manly" get well cards.

This is my 2nd entry into the QKR Challenge #128: Circles.  Image: digi 8507  I used Stitched Party Banner set by Lawn Fawn and Flag Banner from Lil' Inker.

A2, twine, black brads and black homemade enamel dot, circles around image and black circle done in Silhouette Studio

pop-ups behind blue banner for dimension, real tissue in box, copics for coloring

Sneezie - wheezie - queezie

Yup, a lot of that going around!  I'm into bears this week.  Do you find yourself into animals one week, flowers another, etc?

This is my fist QKR Stampede Challenge.  I bought about 7 images after being inspired by so many friends working with these images lately.  Of course, this is the last day of the Challenge #126...add lovely lace!

I used #8507, but I masked the flowers in his/her hand and put a box of tissue.  I saw this in their gallery of cards.  I just had to do my best to case it.  I left the bow off her head before the pic...oh well.

A2, copics, lace, stitching, :i; Inker flag, eyelet, real tissue, white highlighter

another angle, and tree embossing folder

Big hug waiting for you

My brother is gravely ill so I'm on a mission to send at least 2 cards a week.  I need to make more manly cards.  I never have one when I need it.

I totally cased Sue Kemet.  Her card was perfect in every way for what I wanted for my brother.  If you follow me, then you know this isn't the first time I have cased her...haha  I have several other friends I will be casing this weekend.  When you are in a hurry, casing a lovely, perfect card really saves time.  I think casing is respectful and tells/shows a person how talented they are by someone wanting to case.  And, I like to acknowledge their talent on my blog.

I used Ai Bear Hugs Set and birch tree die set from Impression Obsession, and Bear Hug Waiting sentiment from TLC  And YUP.... an action wobble  I cut everything out with my Cameo.

A2 vertical, grass die, stitching, copics for coloring.  My brother graduated from the Citadel so that is why I chose blue pants and bow tie...haha

Friends warm the heart

I'm loving the Lawn Fawn Stamp Sets and matching Die Sets.  I'm pretty much just casing fabulous projects by design team members....the one below is an example of great casing.

I sent a few of these to friends for Valentine's.  I didn't send many due to a reaction to the infusion I got a few weeks ago...leaving me with a bad rash, itching, the feeling of shingles pain on my waist and attacking my knees with aches and pain and everything below that.  Now I'm on meds for THAT. I was in fit condition... I always walk on any given day no less than 2.5 miles (4-5 days a week),  along with 25 minutes of weight lifting and then an hour of low-impact water aerobics...then on Friday...bam...rash, itch, burning on sides and couldn't walk....wow! I miss my routine. I'm going stir crazy...haha  Well, since I'm somewhat immobile, at least I got some cards made between the scratching.

1st Christmas Memories

I continue with my scrapbook pages.  I have completed 5 double pages and have posted two of them.  Today, I'm posting my 3rd page ....1st Christmas Memories.  I can't decide which page to put on the left or right.  It could go either way.....what's your opinion?

I made many of the svgs because I couldn't find where to buy them, so drawing and changing into svgs took a long time.   I cased Stacie at Tori Belles Creations again, but included my own personal touches.  I was inspired by the fireplace by Designs on Cloud 9 called "Waiting for Santa".  I'm pretty sure it was from Treasure Box that I got the "freebie bear" svg.  The darling "Emalina Elf" sitting on his own little shelf is from Paper Pretties.  Enough details...haha

12x12, stitching, ribbon, train from Silhouette, old AC Christmas paper

reindeer punch, my own Santa and sleigh, Barking Dogs Christmas ball, forgot where I got the fire, Darcia embossing folder

Dreamin' of Pumpkin Pie and Door Hanger

Teaching school today...my blog is on auto pilot. I hope this post!

The card is for the Bugaboo Stitch and Fall Challenge and Pollycraft Challenge.  I used my Bugaboo dreamy bear image laying on top a pumpkin image by Trina Clark.  I continued with the stitching theme, added buttons and used copic markers.  I'm starting to like the sewing idea!
Size: A2
The door hanger is sorta a challenge from a DT member Paul at Bugaboo.  Click HERE for his blog candy and check his ghost link in my right column.  He's in Crete right now on a marvelous vacation.  I had a little trouble with the oval hole fitting on my door knobs.  Maybe they just make them bigger down here in the South!  I plan to make 2 more to take to school tomorrow. I'll make circles rather than ovals.  You are suppose to put a candy bar in the slot, but I only had "King Size"... haha, so I included an instant tea mix packet as a treat.
(Instructions on Paul's blog)
SVG CHALLENGE continues through Friday at 11:00 pm
Would love to see some more creations posted by you!
