Tomorrow.....broccoli, but today....

From the Heart Stamps has a progressive monthly challenge.  Since I participated in last month's challenge I received this fun, delightful ice cream lineup set.  I'm joining this month's FTHS Challenge June 2016.

I kept it CAS since there was so much going on in the scene.  While it is CAS, I had a bugger of a time masking one of the Flappy Birds so she could hold the dishes of yummy ice cream.  Of course I colored my favorite flavors even though I can't eat ice cream.  I also added this fun ice cream cone paperclip I just purchased last week at Hobby Lobby.

A2, Glossy accents of the eyes and strawberry chips, wink of Stella on parts of the ice cream

Stitched die cut from Lil Inker, copics for coloring
I made three cards with different background paper

You're So Sweet

Ahhh...the days of my youth remembering sticky popsicle juice running down my arms as I tried to lick it off.  I think cherry and grape were my two favorite flavors.  Of course, I always saved the popsicle sticks to have a mini sword fight with my brother.

These are more like "brown cow" popsicles...vanilla ice cream in the center and chocolate on the outside.  There were not any colors like in my pictures, but boy oh boy, that would had been fun!  I got my idea from Cammy at Pink Room Therapy.  I didn't have the stamp or die, so I made my own cutting file in Silhouette and used Peachy Keen faces....works for ME! LOL

A2, twine, Lawn Fawn alphabet stamps for sentiment

Hope you are staying cool

I can't eat ice cream, but that doesn't mean I can't drool over it.  I do sneak frozen yogurt at times. I saw a MFT video using these stamps.  I enlarged using my Cameo and then used the print/cut feature.  I like caramel more than chocolate on my yogurt.  I added Diamond glaze on caramel topping and cherry.

A2, stitched around the edges in white, pop-ups for dimension, homemade clear blue enamel dots and made own sentiment using Pages on Mac

Scrap - National Ice Cream Month - Challenge

      Scraps   Scraps   Scraps

ScrappilyEverAfter Challenge for Wednesday was to celebrate National Ice Cream Month.  Instructions: use scraps and "think" ice cream.  This was a" cut-out" offered online by Scrappy Dew, but I made into an svg since I didn't feel like hand cutting, but I will not offer as a free svg since it wasn't my original idea. But, please visit Scrappy Dew if you use MTC(Make The Cut) cutting program.  I used my Happy Birthday embossing folder, swirl embossing folder for the ice cream, ink for depth, some ribbon and all scraps I think made for a cute little card for OWH (Operation Write Home).

UPDATE: Rob, at Scarappydew.com, DOES have the ice cream cone available as a freebie as an svg and SCAL, so drop by and get it HERE
