I'm Late, I'm Late....

....for a very important date!

I'm also just getting under the wire publishing my card in the From the Hearts Weekly Challenge #162 with a twist: sketch and/or snow.  I had lost this little image Hamlet Pigwit Air Lift and so glad I found it.

I followed the Die Gate Fold at Splitcoasters Stamps after being influenced by Little Card Maker.  I used copics for coloring, bow die from Gina Marie and yellow enamel dots.

opened.  I'll probably put the note on the back.

Inner Tube Birdbrain Slider Card

OK...I'm back for quite a while now.  The beach was wonderful! YES...the beach is my "Happy Place".

I love Faith's From the Heart Stamp Inner Tube Birdbrain, so I bought it and ran all the way into my craft room to make a card.  Well, you know me, I made 4.  This card is SO ME!!! I was inspired by Donna's Indiana Inking card.

I'm joining From the Heart Stamp Challenge #160.  You can use the sketch and/or use blue and water.  To get the effect I wanted, I chose the blue and water. Cut It Up is also having an awesome challenge: Summertime Memories...well, you know that's ALL ME!

A2, sun punch, LAwn Fawn Hillside Border dies, cut image using Cameo, pop-ups for dimension, wink of Stella on drink and eyelids, copics for color

Tomorrow.....broccoli, but today....

From the Heart Stamps has a progressive monthly challenge.  Since I participated in last month's challenge I received this fun, delightful ice cream lineup set.  I'm joining this month's FTHS Challenge June 2016.

I kept it CAS since there was so much going on in the scene.  While it is CAS, I had a bugger of a time masking one of the Flappy Birds so she could hold the dishes of yummy ice cream.  Of course I colored my favorite flavors even though I can't eat ice cream.  I also added this fun ice cream cone paperclip I just purchased last week at Hobby Lobby.

A2, Glossy accents of the eyes and strawberry chips, wink of Stella on parts of the ice cream

Stitched die cut from Lil Inker, copics for coloring
I made three cards with different background paper

Birthday Chicks

I wanted to revisited this cute "birthday chicks" From the Heart Stamps.  I'm joining their Challenge with a "twist" # 154.

Some of the details will be hard for you to see.  I printed the balloon twice and popped up for dimension. The Happy Birthday to you is a new die cut from Lawn Fawn.  I colored with copics.

A2, homemade dots, copics for coloring, word die cut

Happy Birthday card

I have several cards to post but must retake photos after losing them on my computer.  However, this is a card for a friend's birthday. I incorporated the deets for the From the Heart Stamps weekly Challenge #110 before deadline.  Sketch or twist. (I did twist)

I'm glad I'm up and running again, but it feels like a daunting tasks in trying to make up challenges and commenting on so many fab blogs, so I do apologize.  I just need to relax, do what feels right and makes me happy.  Summer is also almost upon us and I have many vacation plans like many of you....haha

A2, made "happy" in Silhouette, doubled thickness, copics, Paper Smooches stitched lines die

I did TWIST: 3 black stripes and 3 pearls

Another birthday card

I never have enough birthday cards and I definitely don't ever have enough masculine birthday cards.  I hope I can solve this problem.

FTHS Birthday Candle Birdbrain is what I chose to use for the FTHS Sketch Challenge #102 with a Twist.  I chose only to follow the sketch this time around. (From the Heart Stamps)

A2, copics, homemade enamel dot, puff paint for candle drip, glitter on sweat drops, Lil Inker Stitched Circle die, shadow die cut in Silhouette Studio

It's not what they "SAY"...

From the Heart Challenge #99 is going on with a fun sketch with a twist. I stayed with the twist, but I DID add some glitter/sparkle on the flower. I used Surprised Chick but my sentiment was a quote from Errol Flynn.  It almost reminds me of the famous quote from Clark Gable at the end of Gone With The Wind.

I didn't want the flowers just hanging in mid-air so I attempted to ground them by adding stems and a pot.  Do you think I succeeded?

A2, copics, Lil Inker Stitched Circles die, MB pot die, old flower punches, stitching, sparkle gem and pearls

little blurry on the flowers...oops! pop-ups for dimension on flowers and pot

sketch to follow....I turned this way

You make my winter a little warmer

2nd Posting Today!

OKAY...we haven't seen the first snowflake here in South Carolina, but we are having our fair share of cold cold cold!  Not only do I think the From the Heart Stamps Little Snowman image is darling, I just love the sentiment that came with it.

I followed the sketch for Challenge #94 but I just couldn't do the twist...monochromatic.  I love them, but this little card still needed a little pop so I gingerly added the lime green.  I'm also entering this little card in the progressive Monthly (January) Challenge at From the Heart Stamps.

A2 vertical, string, copics, sickles, stitching, ribbon, mitten brads, embossing folder
