Men and Wine .... 2nd posting today

It's been much too long since I have participated in a  Catch the Bug challenge, so I joining the SSS#304 Catch The Bug Challenge.  This little image from Bugaboo Stamps called Scarlette Cafe I think works well with the sentiment that I have no idea where I found it.

My sentiments on cards have become a little snarky, but that can be me at times.

A2, stitching, copics, wink of Stella, wine goblet punch, pink glitter pen

pop-ups for dimension on glass, glittery shoes and bag but you cant see, and a pink princess crown I merged onto her head...private joke regarding my SIL

Heard you caught a bug (freebie svg)

I so enjoy learning that one of my cards has been a "chosen" winner.  It doesn't happened that often and it is thrilling to hear it was "hand picked" by the design team.  This one was chosen by Eat Sleep Stamp.  I also love the way they offer a sketch each week.

Scroll down regarding freebie.

Bugaboo Stamps

I usually offer an svg that goes with my theme for that day, but I've been a little behind.  Also, I'm doing more svgs in the file form for Silhouette called ".studio".  You will be seeing more of those and less of the others....that will be disappointing for some followers.  I have the eClips and it cuts like 'buttttter", but the files you can buy at the Silhouette store, ease of the Professional Studio, along with the AMAZING Print & Cut feature, is the best of the best for "me".

Download:  Cupcake  (svg)
Svg will be available for 5 days...unless I forget to take it down...haha
After 5 days, you can purchase for $.50....contact me!

Heard You Caught A Bug?

Saturday Sketch Challenge
at Catch the Bug

Oh Yeah.....it is still icky sicky season.  I have some friends who have the bug...flu bug.  Bug Jar - Bee from Bugaboo Stamps was the perfect image to use.  The sketch challenge at Catch The Bug was perfect timing to inspire me to make my card.

Ingredients: My Mind's Eye DP, MS leaf punch, glitter, 2 flower punches, pearls, a scallop rectangle die cut (svg) I made, pop-ups for dimension, stitching and copics.  Except for the image, all papers and flowers were scraps to make cards....boy...that's fun! I used 2 sets of green pearls for 4 Crafty Chicks "double-down" challenge

Shelly's Images:  Anything Goes
Delightful Challenges -  - Use your scraps

Let's Talk Turkey

Let's Talk Turkey - Saturday Challenge
at Catch the Bug

I did a card almost exactly like this a few weeks back.  I sold the card and missed it so much, I had to make another one, but this time I used the darling Fancy SB Girl - Thanksgiving from Bugaboo Stamps.  As a matter of fact, by the time this post today, I hope the recipients have received it. I love this DP from DCWV - Harvest Gathering.  It's hard to see, but it's textured and the trees are gold foiled.  My turkey is coming from Bucky's BBQ....yum yum! Used an old stamp and SU markers, hoofed a few breaths on it, and got the pretty leave on envelope.

Grab a turkey leg and head to Catch The Bug for more interpretations of Let's Talk Turkey.

You're so berry sweet.... (3rd posting today...haha)

I guess you can tell by now I'm on a strawberry kick.  I love  strawberries.  I dehyrate fruits and make my own beef jerky (for the men in the family).  Anyhow, not realizing how much water was in a strawberry I made a frugal attempt of dehydrating strawberries.  By the time they were cured, they had shriveled up to nothing!!!! Good tasting, but I had to pop at least 6 in my mouth to get satisfied by one good munch.  Oh well, I'll stick with my strawberry jam, strawberry pies, strawberry fluff, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and just plain strawberries!

The image is from Bugaboo Stamps.  She is Sunbonnet from the Strawberry set HERE.
A2, vertical fold, stitching, EK punch, glitter pen for tiny heart

Bunny Blocks Monochromatic UPDATE (3 buttons)

........Ok, I had to change up the Bunny Blocks for the monochromatic challenge at Catch the Bug.  These little bunnies are from Bugaboo Stamps.  Grey is a neutral and usually allowed, just like skin color.  Anyhow, I put these on a smaller card so I decided just to use 3 bunnies.  I used fiber from my winning stash from Cafexpressions, stitching, punches....others listed below card.
I liked my simple sentiment ... I can use anytime during the Spring and Summer months.
UPDATE: (Had to add 3 buttons for challenge...see last picture)
A2, copic markers, rhinestones, fibers, punches, AC paper

UPDATE:  Added 3 buttons

Triple Latte...... (+ freebie svg) UPDATE ON 3-28

Outside says "I’m having a  triple shot , grande cafe mocha , vodka valium latte" ......inside says "Wanna join me?"

Oh yeah....back to my Bugaboo stamps.  The coffee cup image was a freebie some weeks back.  You can now get at Bugaboo Stamps HERE.  I also used an Svgcuts coffee cup from the set, An Afternoon at Auntie Elaine's.  Svgcuts is the root of my falling in love with svgs.  I love mixing the two mediums, something I have gotten away from lately, but I'm back for a while...haha   I stacked the cup image on top of each other and scraplifted this funny sentiment from someone at Bugaboo blog.  If you know, let me know, so I can give them the credit.  I added glossy accents to the coffee area,a whole lot of stitching, button, cord from Cheryl (Cafexpessions) from a blog candy I won, Ms punch, and corner edge punches.
UPDATE::: Added buttons to equal 3..see last picture
A2, copic markers, For Guys Only paper, fibers, glossy accents, inking

Updated to have 3 buttons

The freebie svg is a floor mirror.  I'll do my card with this hopefully tomorrow.

Bunny blocks

I always have a little trouble with layouts using blocks.  There's usually not much room left to add embellishments.  In this case I had the blocks straight and centered, then I dropped some by mistake and decided I like them better skewed as when they fell.....go figure!  My inspiration came from Rae Ann at Bugaboo Stamps, Catch The Bug. The Bunny Blocks came from Bugaboo Stamps. Right now, I don't have a challenge to add them, but if Catch the Bug has a new challenge on Saturday that will qualify it, then I'm jumping on it....haha  ( PS I forgot to color the noses, so I went back after taking the pic and fixed them, but I left two other cards without the colored noses...sorta liked that too.  The background was done in PSE).

stitching, buttons, embellishments, MS punches, McGill label punch, Colorbok paper

Still have some swag in my wag!!!

.......I don't know what came over me when I thought of this sentiment for the card.  Well, maybe I do....I have a big birthday coming up in March that I'm not looking forward to but I guess it is better than the alternative!  Sometimes I feel like I'm the same age as when I was in college, then I take a REAL good look in the mirror....haha

I am going to enter this is in The Spotted Chick Krafty Thursday Challenge #46. I had to write Jeanie twice to understand where and what to do.....I may still have some swag in my wag, but some of my noodles are missing!
