Tea Time

(inside):  It's not gossip; it's necessary information!

There's something a tad more eloquent in gossiping over tea in a Tea Room than over coffee in a Starbucks...haha  But when all is said and done we make sure to "Bless his/her heart".

It was time to make some cards with Art Impression images I had colored while my DH was in the hospital back in February.  Yup, that's how long they have been sitting on my desk.  Isn't this kitty a hoot and that birdcage for a hat...bah ha ha ha!  I'm still trying to keep the cards clean and simple...something about hot weather that does it to me.

I hope you can see the darling silver teapot/teacup charm at the bottom, under the bow.  I bought a whole bunch on ebay so I thought I had better start using them.

It's A Masterpiece.....

.....and so are YOU!
NEW RELEASE DAY
at Paper Pretties

"TWO POSTINGS TODAY"

Today's two "new releases" at Paper Pretties are Pablo and Diamondz...both of them come with two sentiments.  Again, I went off the grid and made my own sentiment.  Art was one of my college majors. No, I never had a masterpiece, but did win some prizes, ribbons and money.  Oh yeah....love the money!
Paper Pretties challenge is to use "primary colors".  Not sure where I got birdcage svg, but I totally altered it to meet my needs and made into a shaped birdcage card, but feel I should not offer on my post.  It you want it, please email me (not leave a comment on post) and I will send to you.  Click on "view complete profile" and link to my Email is under picture.)

I did a short video to show you all the openings and cool places where you can leave a comment.

A2 size, PSE, copics, embellishments, brads, chain

Sing...like no one is listenng

When I was young, I took guitar lessons.  After months of practice, very little improvement was seen.  I started singing to compensate for my poor guitar skills.  However, my singing skills were even worse than my guitar playing.  Since neither one could compensate for the other, I was begged by family and friends to give up the venture of singing and to please put down the guitar.  I'm now a devout "shower" singer ...taking it to the highway at times if I'm driving by myself.  This card is dedicated to the poor souls like me who can't carry a tune in a tin bucket!

The canary is from Svgcuts.com Robin's Return Set.  DOWNLOAD HERE for the birdcages svg file.  The frame, words "sing", and hanger are in a .scut file.  DOWNLOAD HERE for the .scut file.
