Medication Label Warning!

The expression you can't get "blood out of a turnip" applies to me too.  Nurses just can't get blood out of me.  It too nurse No. 3 to get the blood...my poor hands and arm!  Anyhooo, "Doctor Appreciation" week is coming up soon (at least that is what I read in the Waiting Room.)  So, I made this card for Dr. Ezealah, who is trying to find what's wrong with me.  I left the office with a little less money in my wallet and a little less blood.

I bought this Art Impression Stamp Set from my local Michaels.  There is no title on the set. She was originally hold a glass of wine but I masked it and she's now holding a medicine bottle that I scanned from Lawn Fawn called Get Well.

A2, copics for coloring and lines on chair, stamped the pill bottle for background paper

stethoscope brad, Wink of Stella on earrings, head band and shoes

  1. Oh Cely!!! This card is a HOOT! I LOVE all the masking you've been doing...making it to suit the occasion! The homemade background paper is FANTASTIC and the sentiment, isn't that the truth!!!

Hope you find some answers and are feeling 100% yourself...SOON!! VERY frustrating to be poked so many times!

  5. I'd be the first in line to get an rx with such a warning! What a great image. Love how you masked the image with the medicine bottle. What a clever and fun way to create a "new image"!

Fried chicken is one of my favorite bugaboo images. Its so funny; I giggle every time I see it.

Wonderful coloring, Cely, with fab designs.

  6. That's a funny sentiment. I'd take that medicine! The image is great, too. She looks like she's having a fine time!

I hope they figure out your problem and that you start feeling better soon.

  9. Girl, you have some SEROUS card making talent. I squinted at your image and couldn't tell that you adapted it. Love the medicine bottle on the image and as your background paper (and the stethoscope brad just sent it over the edge). You are "da" bomb ... seriously
