Home again...just in time for Easter with the rest of the family. Just a few pictures of the Battery, my son and my friends' house. I picked up a few card supplies and ready to start making some cards for the wedding showers I will be attending for my son and fiance.

The Battery....spent a lot of time here during college listening to bands on the lawn area and it was free entertainment....what fun! |
 |
You can see the gazebo in center where the band's played and we would sit on grass listening and watching the ships and sailboats go by.....free entertainment for a college kid....great memories! |

Judson house (front yard)...pretty Spanish moss |

Mitchell at Battery with Ft. Sumter in background (it was getting dark) Perhaps he will choose a college in Charleston for 2012 after his mom, dad and brother's footsteps....it's ok if he doesn't. |

Beautiful photos Cely. My husband and I stopped by Charleston on our honeymoon 20 years ago and I absolutely loved it.
ReplyDeleteI stopped by to thank you for taking the time to comment on my post re: my vertigo. I'm sorry that you suffer from it too. It's definitely no fun. :( Thank you for your kind words.

My daughter and grandson live in Mt.Pleasant which is right over the bridge from Charleston - we love that area and the Battery is a gorgeous historical area! Glad you could make it! - and amen on the vertigo (mine comes and goes, but sometimes I'm so dizzy I just have to be very still for awhile - take no medicine for it other than allergy stuff for my sinuses - hang in there with it!)
