Agapanthus

Never knew the name, spelling, nor the pronunciation of this lovely flower.  It is awesome when it blooms.  My friend Harry, from Charleston, was kind enough to share some of his plants.  I can't wait till next year to see them bloom in MY yard.

I used a very old wooden stamp by Penny Black.  I used White Pearl Embossing Powder, but it looks more clear to me.  Anyhow, the rest is self explanatory.  It will be a thank you card.

A2 vertical, there is a peach border but in pic it looks pink, stitching, ribbon, twine, eyelets wet embossing powder

Angle view, I embossed some more agapanthus but used blue glitter

Thank You card

I'm still on vacation at the beach.  I'm having a wonderful, fun, yet relaxing time.  I made this card right before I left for the beach.  It is for my son and wife.  They gave me an awesome gift certificate to Hobby Lobby.  The die cut card maker to make this card is what I spent some of my money on.  Gosh, it makes a fun, quick card in no time......worth every penny with a coupon...haha

I'm using Doodle Pantry's "AccentAnts" .  I so love these little critters...of course...only on cards...lol. The Doodle Pantry Challenge for July continues so hope to see you there.  Hard to use iPad so I didn't use link ups...sorry.

GiANT Thank You

GiANT Thank You

My son, Mitchell, had a birthday recently and needed some Thank You cards.  Like many teenagers, he waited till the last minute and needed them now, now, now!!!  I made 4 cards in 18 minutes, less time that it would take you to get in your car and go buy them somewhere.

CAS (Clean and Simple) can make a statement as nicely as LAL (Lovely and Lavish).  I wanted to display the versatility of the Ant Accents Pre-Colored Set from Doodle Pantry.  He liked them well enough to be thinking "ahead" (praise the Lord) of Thank You notes for graduation time.  Yes, he's a SENIOR...yippee!

Coffee Lover...

....Yup, that's me... Coffee Lover...feel the love with my coffee!

Lace Challenge at : Oldie But A Goodie

Coffee Time - May Your Cup and Coffee Time - Perk Up from Bugaboo Stamps were two fun images I married to make my window card.  I did something similar weeks ago but I used the tile technique. This time I am using a window die (svg) I made. Coffee lover and little hearts on cup.

I have the pleasure of helping introduce the "Oldie But  A Goodie" challenge using lace and incorporating in my window card. Other ingredients: ribbon, button, twine, cup svg, embossing on window, stitching, PSE8, SU punch and pop-ups for dimension on window.

I also made my own faux brick embossing folder.  I will be doing a tutorial February 22.

2nd posting today "Thank You this Moose"

As I have been saying for several days, I'm finishing some thank you cards and all will be mailed tomorrow.  I'm really enjoying the Lindy's Stamp Gang stamp sets that Deloris got me hooked on.  The moose came from the "We Moose You" gang.  I'm also trying to make 8 of each so I can give as presents....seems like family and friends would rather have some homemade cards rather than any other type of gift.  I will take that as a compliment and run with that thought....haha

Both are A2 size and  I used copic markers along with sewing and embellishments.
Don't forget about the svg freebie posted earlier today!

Moooochas Grassias Deloris (+ freebie)

I have several thank you cards to send, so hope none of those people are reading my blog today...haha

No mojo yet, so I totally scraplifted Deloris' adorable thank you card.  Just to add a personal touch, I added some scallops to one, along with some ribbon and a button I dot-painted with a brown copic marker to match the cow, but I totally love Deloris' just the way it is.  The cute stamp is from the set called Bovinia Buttinski's Gang from Lindy's Stamp Gang.  Okay....thought this would help get "my feet wet" and help get my groove back.  Slowly but surely! I've decided to entered this in Rhonda's "Anything Goes" challenge at The Latte Lounge.

Deloris's card: Mooochas Grassias

I seem to be on an animal movement...haha  However, I am still trying to do some svgs that I want to work with soon, so as promised, here is today's freebie.

Both A2 size card, MS punch, copic markers

This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with today's card, but I have big plans for this svg soon.
