Birday Tweets

Hello friends.....I took a little "leave of absence" from my card designing.  I needed/wanted to spend time with family, friends and time on the coast.  I also needed to figure out how to find time for exercising to strengthen my back and knees.  I'm putting in no less than 6 miles a day, weight training, floor climbing and swimming weekdays which has left little time in the day for crafting.  Anyhoooo..... I spend evenings visiting so many awesome blog posts, but just haven't commented.  A wonderful way to end a very tiring day!  Thank you all!  I will be back on track very soon.

I forgot to post this on the due date.  So sorry!  Isn't she the cutest and I love the sentiment.  I made this legal size...something I don't do enough of these days.  You can find Sally Letter Illustration at Paper Creator.  She comes with many options.

Come along and join Challenge #55 at Paper Creator's Crafts. When purchasing an image use CELY for 20% savings.  Becky is not only very talented but very sweet to allow us to offer followers this discount for us being on her design team.

Little B Bouquet card

Another card I am adding as part of a combo set for some in-laws for Christmas.  This is another case I found on Pinterest.  " If it ain't broke, don't fix."   I'm trying to make cards that look pretty or fun, easy to put together but look like they took a long time to make...haha

Lola, at Little Card Maker, got me interested in this die set.  My crafting friends cost me money....you know who you are....haha  I used Little B Bouquet set. The only thing I added was a Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaf die.

A2, used distressed inks to make the blue background and the red/orange color behind flowers.

A day without laughter....

...is a day wasted. - Charlie Chaplin

You know how someone's card or a sentiment will just "grab you"?  Well, Sue at Sue's Stamping Stuff, her card did that to me.  So yup, case "I did"....not just one but four.  Yup, masculine, but they are going to several girlfriends.

This is Penny Black Charlie Chaplin.  I "dressed up" a few with different border colors.  I also used Lil Inker Stitched Rectangles set.

Should have made more.

Hang in There

My first purchase from Imagine That by Digistamps.  The set is called Airplanes and is on sale.  I was inspired by Donna at Indiana Ink and plan to case her card, but for this particular one I made a box card for my cousin-in-law who has just started treatment again for breast cancer.  I'm trying to keep the cards a little silly, fun and upbeat.

The box card is from Lori through the Silhouette Store, stitched clouds and sun are from Lil Inker.  I'm entering several challenges listed below the pictures.

more of WATT'S UP !

I don't know why I'm on a kick with "lightbulbs".  Is it one of the newest images for cards?  This one is taken from My Favorite Things Die-namics, but I used Studio for the sentiment...one cut  and one  typed. I cased Lori at Inkingaloud.

I didn't show my table and chairs today.  I waited too long and the lighting wasn't right, but I haven't forgotten to do it.

A2 vertical

A2 vertical, glitter, Lil Inker flag banner, Lil inker stitched circles, and my own stitching, along with pop- ups for dimension
cut out letters and used faux stitching on each letter.  I like the other better and will probably redo the circle on this one.
