Ewe Make Me Happy

I guess I'm getting a little ahead of myself making a Valentine's card, but I've always like the feeling of being ahead rather than behind..lol

I made two different versions using the darling Doodle Pantry "heart sheep".  I'll post the other tomorrow.    I like step cards for dimension.  I used the tree die from Memory Box and a Silhouette Store file for the hearts.  I cut out the sheep scene using the "print/cut" feature on my Silhouette Cameo.  Since I made 7 of these cards, the "print/cut" feature made it quick and painless...lol

My camera is giving me a lot of trouble lately.  I may have to ask Santa to fix it or give me a new one!

  1. Oh, Cely - I LOVE this! I need to add that tree die to my wish list. I was just thinking the other day that I should just go ahead to Valentine's Day instead of trying anything Christmas.

  2. This is a definite thumbs up! So cute and adorable! I just love the heart sheep. I'm not sure I have that set but I will definitely have to check it out. Can't wait to see tomorrow's card!

  3. What an adorable card! It reminds me of pop-up books.

I just "finished" my Love/Valentine's cards for Operation Write Home. I've been working on them since before Thanksgiving. It's funny to be so out of sync on holidays since the cards have to go overseas and get back to the US again before the actual holiday occurs!

What a fun card. Refreshing from all the Christmas.

  5. This is amazing. I love your wonderful design and am really impressed that you were able to cut out the DP images on the Silhouete. Didn't know you could do that w/a Silhouette -- is there a print and cut feature on the machine that makes it very easy to do? Or do you have to use special software that you wrote?

  6. Darling so cute and love it's not Christmas cards.. they are on everyone's blog..lol guess time of year.duh. But love the love/valentine card. Great dies and simple coloring. Great work as always

  7. Ewe did it again! ;0)
    Another great card!
    Love it!

  8. Oh, how sweet! That tree die works so great with the image! Nice idea to go with a side-step! :0)

  9. This is one of my favorite cards ever! Just darling.

  10. Brilliant card, I should have commented on this one first then I would have realised there was more than one Valentine's card :o)

  11. No, no, it can't be Valentine's already! I'm not even ready for Christmas! lol Magnificent step card, Cely. Love the way you did the darling sheep. Cutting it by machine beats cutting each one with scissors (which is what I still do) especially when you're doing multiples. Love this one.

  12. Love this fancy cut! I've only done the center step - but this is tempting. And that image is perfect with the tree! Just adorable!!

  13. Beautiful card, I love that side step card shape and your display of the image with the tree and hearts. Marvellous!!
