Flower (2 petal) card

I can't take full credit for this sweet little card.  Jeannie at Dragonfly Journeys  had a flower card posted on Splitcoasters last year.  I couldn't download it and it wasn't an svg.  So, I had to start from scratch....draw and design and then I added a little bit more and also made it into an svg.  It was hard getting a good picture, but I didn't want to "squash it" in the scanner.  It measures out to a 5 x 5. As you can see, it opens up to give you a place to write your sentiment.  I will put the sentiment to the left and leave more room to write my personal message. (PS: The dragonfly is from SVGCUTS.)

Extra help putting together directions:  Once I folded on dashed lines, I glued the smaller petals on the back of half circle, then glued the larger petals behind the smaller petals.   I then put the 2 half circles touching each other and "pressed down" trying to keep the back centered.  This resulted in the 2 3/4" square left to write on for a message.

Card Box Holder (with video)

Denise Hill at Paper Pastime needs to be crowned the "Queen of Box Templates".  Her tutorials are excellent.  I did four of the card boxes as gifts and all recipients loved them.  The boxes have really held up to wear and tear.  She has many wonderful svg and scut files free for the taking.  Unfortunately, I only took one picture out of the four different designs boxes I made....bummer!
