The latest dirt....

I'm going to spend time revisiting some oldies at Doodle Pantry and making more masculine cards....gosh...I need them.  I love the older ones as much as the most recent.  This one is definitely an old favorite.  It's called Digging Ant and it's only $1.

Still time to join in on our Doodle Pantry Ants in the Pantry Challenge #3.  Great chance to win a GC and gather up some awesome inspiration.

copics for coloring, used new diagonal die from Lil Inker, faux stitching

homemade shovel svg I made, homemade center DP...little spades, Wink of Stella on had and both shovels, pop-ups on shovel for dimension

Swimming by......

Laura, owner and artist of Doodle Pantry, did it again....another "new release" fun image that was introduced last month.  This one is called Scuba Sheep. It comes with B/W and color images, DP, and sentiments. If you know me then you know I love anything that is remotely related to the beach, water,  or a coastal summer theme so I couldn't wait to play with this image.  I used a very similar sketch last month so I figured "if it isn't broke, then don't mess with it".

Join the Doodle Pantry Blog monthly challenge and you will receive a wonderful complimentary digital set. Easy Peazy!

5x5 fish bowl shaped card

If you find yourself in a hole.... (shovel and axe svg)

.... the first thing to do is stop diggin'.

Boy, how many times have I found this to be true!!!   Maybe that's why I chose Digging Ant from Doodle Pantry to create a card this week.  My momma always said, "Your mouth is your own worst enemy"! LOL

I made the shovel and pick axe svg.  If you live in SC or Georgia, the pick axe is a tool shed staple.  It's not called the "red hills of Georgia" for nothing.  Our red dirt is more like "red clay". (The sky background is hard to see due to lighting, but great tutorial is HERE.)

Supplies: copics, stitching, pop-ups for dimension, spellbinder oval die, Silhouette grass, made green frame using Silhouette shapes, A2 size.

You can purchase the svg set for $1.00.  It will also come with .studio files.  Contact info is at end of "profile".

"Let's Eat" Carrier

"Oldies but Goodies"
at Bugaboo Stamps

What a fun day!!  Instead of a card, I went "outside the box", well, actually outside the "cake carrier".

A wonderful, generous person gave me some free vinyl.  I saw Tammy's cake carrier and knew I had to give it a try.  I used all scraps, including carrier and ribbon..haha  Since this was my first attempt, I didn't want to chance using something new....so it REALLY is an oldie day.

My image... Picnic Ant, at Bugaboo Stamps, of course...haha! ( I changed jpeg to svg). I can not share the svg. The original image is sole property of Jodie at Bugaboo Stamps.

Pop over to Oldie but Goodie Day at Bugaboo and check out what some of the other team members did....just more fun for you!

Back side using "picnic ant"

Front side, my initials using Curlz font
Perhaps I should had put "Carolina Girl"

Let's Do Lunch... (+ freebie)

Wacky Wednesday
at CDAC

........sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.  Yippee!  It's a sketch challenge.  I could really use some lessons on sketch techniques so that's why I love being given one to follow...one less thing for me to think about..haha

All the flamingo images are so stinkin' cute.  I just couldn't wait to use one.  I even included the picnic ant.  Hey...they can be friends!  When do you not see an ant at a picnic!!!!

I kept the papers pretty plain since my actual coloring image is so busy.

5x5 easel card, copics, svg, stitching, embellishment

The svg is an oldie by me, but I will put it back up for downloading in case some of you missed it.

Download: palm tree cely  (svg)
Svg will be available for 5 days...ENJOY!!!
