"Wee Note" for Faith

I made the first card for Faith, the awesome creator behind From The Heart Stamps.  I fell in love with her sweet and quirky stamps about a year ago. (I used Hamlet PigWit Being Shy.) Faith has taken quite ill and at this writing could very well still be in the hospital.

Of course, you know I had to make 3 more cards if I was going to make at least one...each being a tad different.  I haven't mastered watercolor, even though I'm ok with watercolor pencils. Anyhow, the Cut It Up Challenge #104 is to use some watercolor and a die.  I did two backgrounds in watercolor just to say I tried...haha.  I used Lil' Inker Stitched Circle dies for the frames.

Happy Labor Day to all my friends out there in cyber-world....safe time and safe travels!

A2, metal music note charm, string, made background paper using the Old MacDonald's song, small cloud Fiskar punch

Inside...can see more of the watercolor...copics for the piglet, pop ups for dimension

middle card also has watercolor background, matching string or cord for all cards
Other Challenges:
A Gem of a challenge - Twine, ribbon, or lace
Aud Sentiments Challenge - Anything Goes and sentiment

Guess who misses you!

I've been sick and not knowing what I had, I didn't want to take the chance of giving it to my 16 month old grand daughter. Next, I caught a cold which I'm almost over, but it has caused me not to be able to see the grand baby for weeks!  She won't understand the message (her mom and dad will) but she will love the bunnies peeking through the little frames.

I'm using a part of Easter Trio (March Stamp of the Month) for From the Heart March Challenge.  I received the set free for participating in February's challenge.  I had 4 images I was going to use and one disappeared before my eyes...no lie!!!

A2, copics for bunnies, pink dot background using PSE, scallop punch, butterfly punch, Wink of Stella, homemade enamel dots

Angle view, and scallop border punch by Fiskar

another...It's not what they SAY...

Nope, not yellow and black, but still using yellow...haha  I still giggle over this silly sentiment.

It's just as easy to make 2 or 3 cards if you are going to make one.  I actually like this one a tad better than my first one and I have the chance to change up the sketch since I can't enter it into the From the Heart Challenge.  I used Surprised Chick  and their sketch #99 from From the Heart Stamps.

A2, pot die and Prim Poppy dies from Memory Box, homemade enamel dots

Stitching, copics, pop-ups for dimension wink of Stella and Glossy Accents for eyes and tummy dots

Flappy Birthday

Here's September's From the Heart Stamp image called Flappy Birthday.  I received it FREE for participating in their August Challenge. What a sweetie!  I'm entering this image in their September Challenge.

I wanted to use just "one" of the images, but wasn't sure of the rule, so I stuck with all three but did another card with just one of the images that I'll post later this week.

My inspiration was Jeannie from The Spotted Chick.  I plan to case hers .... for sure.  I didn't have the  curved die cut so I had to make my own in Silhouette

A2, faux stitching, copics, pop-ups, balloon made in Silhouette
