Let Freedom Ring

Freedom Eagle is one of Doodle Pantry's June Releases.  I appreciate this release in June so I have time to make some cards and get in the mail before July 4th.

I used Spellbinders Splendid Circle die, I cut out a circle 4.14" on my Silhouette Cameo.  I used a 2.25 circle punch and fussy cut around the wings.

Come along...join the Doodle Pantry June Challenge....still plenty of time.  You have a chance to win a gift certificate and will also receive the Quirky Stork set free just for participating .

A2, twine, and two types of brads
Challenges:
Cut It Up:  Red, White, and Blue (also use dies and cut files)

Happy 4th of July a little early

Yesterday's card was inspired by Min at Bugaboo and now this one....ok...I almost scraplifted this one but I wrote and told her...haha  Jodie, owner and designer of Bugaboo Stamps always captures me with her awesome drawings.  The image is Turtles - July USA.  I planned to post for Wacky Wednesday Challenge at CDAC (not designer paper and 3 buttons) and now I see it will also qualify for the Catch the Bug challenge (red, white and blue and ribbon)....lucky me.

No freebie today, but I will have one tomorrow.

glitter pen, copics, twine(ribbon) Stars, embossing folder and PSE

Below is a picture I took of my son Mitchell and his friend David.  They were tossing a mud minnow trap into the low tide inlet at Pawley's Island.  I was proud of myself for catching the minnow trap in mid-air with my little Sony camera...haha  This was while we were on our college tours last week.  98 degrees at the time and HUMID!!!
