Silhouette Girl

Have you ever started on a project, managed to accidentally stray away, and end up with a card/project that some how popped into your head for no apparent reason? It happens to me a little too often.

Where is this story headed you ask? While still working on re-organizing my craft room, I stopped to check my email.  Lola, at Little Card Maker , posted a card using a freebie image from Birdie Brown. Loved it, so I had to go take a look around this unknown site.  I saw this Silhouette Set (Girl and Boy) and this card instantly popped into my head (changed image into an svg/cutting file). I had just returned from a Scrapbooking Store trip with friend Cheryl (Cafexpressions) and the beautiful purchased Graphic 45 papers were staring me in the face.  I'll now return to re-organizing the room!!!

A2, stitching, LaLa Land border die, pop-ups, embellishment, charm, string, used my Silhouette Cameo

L-O-V-E charm is hard to see (burnt my hand with hot glue..ouch!

  1. Love this - the little girl is just precious - and holding the flower - perfect. Don't have a cutter - hmmm...never needed it until maybe now??? Great project and great fun shopping with a friend.

  4. Yes I have, frequently. It's very rare that my cards finish up the way they were intended LOL.
I love silhouette cards and the colours on this one are fantastic :o)

  5. Yes, that happens to me very often! Usually it happens when I'm "cleaning" my craft room and see some leftovers that happen to be lying haphazardly next to or on top of each other, and I think, "Hmmm . . ." I love that little silhouette and flower. Both cards are very beautiful. I'll be following your links now!

  7. Yes I get side tracked when ever I sort through my stuff. This card is super cute, the little girl so precious and the black outlined flower perfect. The paper is gorgeous behind the dramatic border. Ideas popping in your head... proves your creative genius. Hugs How's your hubby doing?
