Sweet Cherry Tomatoes

My garden is planted and the tomato cards are made!  This is mid-month release day at Doodle Pantry.  One of the releases is the set Cherry Tomatoes!  It comes with all the trimmings: outline and colored image, sentiments and designer paper.  I've done several different versions.  Here is the one for today.

I colored with copics, used some scrap green rafetta, and just to be a little silly, added my own sentiment.  Yes, repeating two of them several times was "on purpose"!  haha   I kept it CAS!

A2, pop-ups, stitching, copics, rafetta

What a great card!!! Love the "recipe" tag.
No tomatoe planting here until at least June. :(
Had another skiff of snow last night. You would think we lived at the North pole instead of "sunny" Alberta. lol

  7. I love your Top 10 Things to Do with Tomatoes! People who grow their own tomatoes sometimes have an overabundance, so I knew the repetition was on purpose. My step-dad used to stand over the sink and eat our homegrown roma tomatoes like an apple! Great job on the card!

  11. Your tomatoes are colored beautifully! We planted ONE plant. Beanie likes them - I personally don't go near veggies. Your polka dot paper and sentiment are also great.

  12. Your card is so cute and a great job coloring those little guys!! One of the reasons I love summer is tomato season. I can remember too many years of mom making us go tomato picking at the end of the season...but there is nothing better than a tomato sandwich and fried green tomatoes!!!

  14. ROFL, Cely! I'm going to have to copy your list of things to do with tomatoes! I always plant 4 or 5 tomato plants in my garden (different kinds, of course), and then have tons more than I can use, even after I've given away as many as possible to neighbors, friends, church folks, and even strangers who just walk by! Love this card. :-D
