BOO to you!

For some reason, this little House Mouse called Monster Mouse image always makes me smile and laugh.  (I don't think they sell this one any more.  Mine is a clear cling stamp.) OK, I know the reason...my brother would do stupid/silly things like this to me growing up.  I also remember him throwing a pair of scissors at me.  They missed my back because I slipped and fell.  They continued flying over my head  and  hit the refrigerator leaving a dent in it, and just missing my mom as she was walking into the kitchen.  Boy, he got his fanny spanked big time. (Ps...Yup, same brother that does the monkey faces at age 70.  In all fairness, I had been antagonizing him.)

The scissors steel die is from Aliexpress.  ( There are a lot of shops on Aliexpress that carry the scissors.) Nothing real special on my card.  I love the simplicity of it and knowing I'm sending it to my 3 1/2 year old grandson, it will get destroyed...haha

OUCH...Get Better Soon

A teacher friend recently had a knee replacement.  This little house mouse from my CD was the closest image I could find but I think it will do the job.  I like taking my photo shots outside but we are still having tropical winds and I can't keep my cards still long enough to take a picture.  I really need to set up a photo spot inside...that's my next project...haha

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #301 is "Anything Goes" and/or "Outdoor Fun".  I'm going with Anything Goes.  These little critters could be outdoors...haha

YES...FALL is in the AIR...

...well maybe not in Cocoa Beach but we try our best to wear "T-shirts" with Fall colors. LOL

I have said it more than once....my stamping addiction began when I was in Hobby Lobby back in 2005 and I came across the Stamp/Card making Department.  I didn't know one even existed!!! My eyes honed in to the cutest HOUSE MOUSE stamp.  That was it....I was hooked!

I have created with this image several times in the past. To change things up a little bit, I used a CIRCLE instead of a square box to accent one of the mice.  I forgot what this technique is called.  I also did a print and cut on the mouse sailing to the ground using glitter marker and pop-ups for dimension. Lastly, those lovely stitched leaf dies by Lawn Fawn.

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #299 is under way.  An included option is to use Fall colors. Done deal...LOL

A2, I apologize for horrible lighting.  Winds at the beach and being on top floor, blew my
cards off balcony while taking pics.  I won't do that again...LOL  Rhinestone on leaves

Added sequins and yellow brad for this one.

Homemade button and string as an accent on this one.  I did one more
and it just had a different color brad.

Wish BIG

I love doing interactive, dimensional , slider, box cards and the list goes on and on.  But, sometimes it's just as much fun making some CAS cards with a very clear message.  This is one.

I bought this years ago as a rubber stamp, but found it pre-colored on the House Mouse Triple CD Collection.  By changing the format, I could size according to my specifications.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

I'm entering this card in the (HMFSC) House Mouse Family Saturday Challenge #264: Love or Anything Goes.

Cheesy Smiles

Pulled out my little House Mouse friend image.  I took it into my Silhouette and did a Print & Cut.  I punched circles in some yellow paper, shaded the back area with some blue Tim Holtz distressed ink and used a sentiment from Pink by Design.  That's all folks! (oops...almost forgot...totally cased 1000 Cartes.)  I like her style.

I'm entering my card in the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #234 - Love or Anything Goes.

A2, heart punch, distressed with Stampin Up yellow ink, image is very very old and can't find on the web anywhere to give a link

Drawstring Gift Bags for the card sets

After making all the cards for the in-law ladies, I decided I needed some way to present them nicely.  It was a rainy, cold, icky day and I didn't want to drive to the fabric store, plus I wanted to save money...SO...I found some scrap pillowcase material I had bought this past summer.

I used Staz-On and stamped with my oldie Christmas House Mouse stamp and sentiment.  I used thin red ribbon to make the "draw-string" for the bags.  Dang, I guess I need tags now....this is becoming a never ending project.

Keep Up Your Strength

What a fun, useful House Mouse image Weight Lifter.  This one is not from the HM Triple CD set.  I'm thinking of cards for friends and family who love to "work out" and are dieting.  In this card, I'm going in a completely different direction...cards for illness.  I'm still working on cards for a relative who is going through breast cancer treatment which is why I added the extra pink weights in bottom corner.

If you look closely, the barbell Mudpie is holding is a Q-Tip....haha  (My pics came out a little dark.) I'm joining the House Mouse #230 Challenge with Anything Goes, but hope to add a card with the color challenge in a few days.

Hark the herald angels sing

House Mouse time and this one is also from the House Mouse Triple CD set.  (The background paper is also from the CD...a little pale, but it was paired with it.) I used Lori Whitlock's Circle Pop Out Card from the Silhouette Store.

Ah Choo

Yup, another House Mouse.  The House Mouse Triple CD has this listed as Winter06.  I call it the Kleenax mouse.  I added real kleenax to the top where the image has wadded up kleenax.  I also have this image in a wood block rubber stamp.

I'm entering my card in the House Mouse HMFMC Challenge #228 - Shaped Card.  I took image into Design Studio, copied it to make the "backing of the card" and cut it all using my Cameo 3.

Cameo 3: I like it, but don't run out and get it if you still have the original like me.  This one is much larger and doesn't do any worse or any better than the original.  Once the Bluetooth works and they add new software that only works with Cameo 3, it might be worth it.  Other than that, you aren't missing out.

A2, real kleenax added to top, pop-ups for dimension, made circle part in Silhouette

another view...see the wadded up kleenax in right corner?  That is also on top that I covered with tissue

Be brave

I continue creating with my little House Mouse images from the Triple House Mouse CD.  They don't label; just use numbers.  I'm calling it "Injured Mouse".  This is pre-colored but I went over a few areas with my copics.  I just couldn't bring myself to using the standard "Get Well Soon"... so this little sentiment from Paper Smooches I thought different and perfect for the occasion.

I'm entering the House Mouse HMFMC Challenge #228 - Shaped Card.  I had several of these scalloped circles left over so why not put them to good use!

5x5, Lawn Fawn Get Well Soon die set, copics, white highlighter, pop-ups for dimensions on back of circle and behind little circle and bandaid.

House Mouse Shaped card

This particular little House Mouse Wooden Rubber Stamp "Fantastic Friends" is retired.  I would love to see some of the retired come back in clear stamp form.

Anyhoo, I made a shaped card and was sure to add pink pink pink for two different challenges.  House Mouse HMFMC #228 - shaped card.  Die Cuttin' Divas #288 - pink.  It is still breast cancer awareness month.  I'm sending these 3 cards (different sentiments)(only two showing), to friends who have dealt with or dealing with breast cancer.

PS..New toy: I bought a HP Color Laser Pro printer and totally thrilled with it.  Yup, the ink is more expensive, but it last 5-6 times longer so the end result is it being cheaper than my HP Photosmart printer.  Laser is great for graphics, though not photographs. (Deloris's cards were just too awesome, so it's her fault that I'm now broke..haha)

5x5 scallop circle, twine, Wink of Stella, copics, Lawn Fawn Stitched circle dies

"time has really flown by"...all the circles are inlayed rather than mounted on top of each other.

JOY to you and me

I made four of these little cuties.  It's pretty CAS, so I was sure to add stitching, pop-ups for dimension, glossy accents on the berries, and a sprinkle of glitter in the snow and leaves. The image is another from the House Mouse Triple CD.  I'm so glad Deloris talked me into it.  Actually, her cards using the set really impressed me.

I've picked out a different Christmas design for family members.  I will only make 10. "Heavens to Betsy" I wish I could send out cards to all my friends, especially all my card crafter friends.  How does one choose without hurting someone else's feelings?  No really, if you have a solution, please drop me an email.

Cheesy Smiles

One last card before heading to the coast for a little bit of sun.  Hubby is staying home and tending the puppies.  Trust me, he'll have fun while I'm away.

These are little old rubber House Mouse stamps.  The sentiment is an old Hero Arts rubber stamp.  I made the cheese-hole card on my Cameo.  It's just a cute little card to send a friend.  I'm entering this in the House Mouse MHFMC #226 Challenge: Autumn or anything goes

Colors make me happy

Another House Mouse card using the same template as yesterday with just a few changes.  I made svg paint brushes and colored with copics.  I also cut an extra paint tube for more 3D imaging.  This image is also from the House Mouse Triple CD set.

Leaves are starting to FALL

I am always inspired by Sue "Sue's Stamping Stuff" cards using House Mouse Designs.  My very first stamp was a House Mouse...and I'm talking many many years ago.  The love for them has not waned.  I'm entering House Mouse Challenge HMFMC #226: Autumn.

This darling set is from the House Mouse CD, a Christmas present from my husband.  It didn't come with a title, but listed as Garden 25.

The flying mouse is 3D as well as the mouse in the tree that has a red frame.  I added a freebie Miss Kate's Cuttables called Autumn Words (on sale for $.40) and Lawn Fawn (small) Stitched Leaves.  A little cord and I call it done and ready to send.

A2, green cord, pop-ups for dimension, Cameo to cut word and mouse

Friend Time Spinner Card

Lordy Lordy I think I may be getting the flu so I will try to get this card posted.

The House Mouse Challenge #188 theme (Friends) is being sponsored by the lovely lady Sues Stamping Stuff. She does an awesome job with the House Mice! My first rubber stamp was a House Mouse.  I still love the sweet critters.  This one is called (I think) '07 Fruit Fun. Bought at HB years ago. I tried to keep it CAS but added a fun cherry spinner.

Flashback:  I remember my friend Carola and I buying cherries, pitting and making jam.  It was a lot of work, a lot of fun and we never did it again.  The next best thing we did was to buy maraschino cherries, soaked over night in chocolate volka and ....yum yum!

A2, ribbon, copics for coloring, white highlights, metal cherry charm.

Believe in the magic of Christmas

I'll repeat myself once more... I fell in love with card making when I discovered a House Mouse stamp at Hobby Lobby years ago.

Winter's Nap is what I'm using for my card.  Yup...using the large circle burst this time around.  The challenge #183 at House Mouse is: Add a little sparkle  I add diamond sickles to the flame.

Warm Winter Wishes

This is a new House Mouse cling stamp I bought after seeing my friend Stephanie's card.  A House Mouse was the wood stamp that got me longing to make cards...the rest is history.  I have already made one card for the challenge...here is my second.

I added glitter, MB pine branch, a snow flake, stitching and some twine.  I consider it CAS for me and will mail easily.

Challenge:  challenge theme is "Brrrr....It's cold outside" .  They have House Mouse Hop going on through tomorrow.

Jingle all the way

It's a House Mouse Hop the next few days.  I would love the chance to win some goodies and it's a great excuse to make a card with one of my House Mouse stamps.  My love for card making began when I purchased my first rubber stamp at Hobby Lobby 8 years ago.....a House Mouse stamp....and the rest is history!

The challenge theme is "Brrrr....It's cold outside" or anything goes as long as you use a House Mouse or one in that family of stamps.

The stamp itself is rather large, so I put the main stamp on the inside of the card, and teased you with a circle burst die window to get your interest.  The bells are from the Silhouette Store.

...dream a little dream..

My passion for card making began with the discovery of House Mouse stamps at Hobby Lobby....the rest is history!

This card is CAS.  I followed a sketch for the the One Stop Craft #216.  I added some bling because it looked to plain.  A little can go a long way!
