Yup, I could order Tim Holtz brick embossing folder, but I thought I would make my own. So I made a vertical and horizontal faux brick embossing folder to meet my needs.
I have a few pictures here to share showing the end result. I felt a video would be easier than writing all the steps. I'm such a visual person!
This is super cool I can not wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteOoooh I can't wait either - what a brillaint idea :0), than k you for sharing it x

ReplyDeleteThanks for the great tutorial. I must try that. Funny how your tut came just when I was trying to make brick work with the Scor Pal. lol
Also, nice to put a voice with your face. That is such a bonus; just makes you that much more personal.

ReplyDeleteQuestion. the brown mat that show onto the faux brick embossing folder tutorial . What is it ? I am deaf . Can't hear a thing you are saying. Sorry but I would LOVE to try this. This is amazing idea. wow. Many thank for your time and reply.
ReplyDeleteQuestion ..I was watching your video of faux brick embossing folder tutorial . first of all I'm deaf. I need to know what is that brown mat you were using onto this hard broad box ? This is amazing idea . I would LOVE to try it.
ReplyDeleteFor Joy....Joy, the brown rubbery thing is just a scrap of a rubber gasket repair kit from Home Depot. Many people buy the embossing mat that is made for the Cuttlebug, but I'm cheap and the rubber repair gasket kit is cheaper and you get several pieces. I hope you see this comment because you did not leave me an email address to write.
ReplyDeleteCarolina Girl (Cely) .. I read your message and Many thank for a fast reply. Let you know this is my first time using this comment. Yes I got a few of your email that you send me of your beautiful cards. I enjoyed it so much. thank again, Joy
