My card for the kitchen/recipe shower for my future DIL that is this afternoon. The shower I accidentally showed up for a "day early". I'll just call that a "dry run". Ok...and I felt a little stupid too.
I may be "pushing the envelop" with requirements for a
Catch the Bug challenge, but I'm GOING FOR IT! haha The challenge calls for polka dots and stripes. I used swiss dot embossing folder and the stripes are my whisk all in a row....looks likes stripes to me! The image is JJCook from
Bugaboo Stamps. My darling svgs are from
Svgcuts ... the mitten, wooden spoon and measuring spoons (
Afternoon at Auntie Elaine's and
Christmas Cookie party sets). I did the bottle freehand and made the svg apron. ( I used silver mirror paper for measuring spoons but hard to see in photo.)

Well... I like it! :) Thanks for playing in our challenge at Catch The Bug!
ReplyDelete2 great cards, Cely. I esp. love all the little details on this one. so very creative. I can tell you put extra love into it. A day early is not too bad. Though I too would have been embarrassed being the future new in-law. We have a regular summer bash each year and a few times we have had people show up a week late. At least, a day early you can correct. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteVery fun card, Cely!
ReplyDeleteLove the card and the way you have coloured in JJ. Thanks for joining in with us for our Spots and Stripes challenge at Catch the Bug.
