Just chickin' in...

I'm wanting to send Faith, awesome creator of From The Heart Stamps, some fun "thinking of you" cards.  I know she is strong and following the doctor's orders.  We all wish her well and look forward to seeing her in the pilot seat again at From the Heart.

I made 4 cards using Flappy Birthday ...of course, but colored each chick a little different...must have some man cards, right?  The little charm says, "just for you".

A2, Lil inker stitched circles, chicken wire die, pink cord, charm and colored with copics.  I also colored the backside of the chick (including the underwear) on the inside of the card.  Also, glossy accents and glitter on face.  Cut chick out with Cameo.

  1. The chicken wire really makes it! It looks like she's peeking out of her hen house!

Faith will really appreciate your cards. How nice of you to think of her.

  2. Fab card design, Cely. I love that chicken wire! Is that a die cut? Who makes the die or did you do that on your Cricut? Wonderful little round 'windows.'

  3. This is adorable, I love that little chick and your fabulous chicken wire die!

  4. LOL I love it! I'm going to have to try something like that it looks fantastic!

  5. Oh! you are amazing, I love the wire, the chick and the sentiment and your little port holes!

  6. Another super fun card to make me smile! I'm sure Faith will love it!

  7. Awesome card. Loving the background and the windows. Great idea and fun happy card. Sure to bring a smile.

  8. Oh, what a FUN Card, Cely. Faith will love it. By the way....I got a message from her yesterday. She is in treatment but she sounded very good. Once she has time, she posts an update on the blog / FB. She is very touched on the many cards, thoughts and prayers she receives.

  9. A FABulous design Cely.
LOve your colours and the chicken wire die.

  10. I didn't realize on the other cards that the backgound is die cut - I thought it was printed. Love the kraft and of course just the layout alone, putting that bird through the hole is so perfect.
