I love Faith's From the Heart Stamp Inner Tube Birdbrain, so I bought it and ran all the way into my craft room to make a card. Well, you know me, I made 4. This card is SO ME!!! I was inspired by Donna's Indiana Inking card.
I'm joining From the Heart Stamp Challenge #160. You can use the sketch and/or use blue and water. To get the effect I wanted, I chose the blue and water. Cut It Up is also having an awesome challenge: Summertime Memories...well, you know that's ALL ME!
A2, sun punch, LAwn Fawn Hillside Border dies, cut image using Cameo, pop-ups for dimension, wink of Stella on drink and eyelids, copics for color |
You always make the best birdbrain cards! Love that you made this into a slider card too. I am working on a slider card right now...slowly as I get time! I am heading to the beach this weekend for a nice little vacation, but I think I will leave my inner tube at home as I am birdbrained enough already!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card! Made me smile!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, Cely, I can just see you floating on that inner tube! Great card and I adore the way you did the sand and sea foam on the edge of the incoming wave. Fab design techniques!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, Cely ! I like your summery beachy scene and you did a perfect job with our tWiSt this week @ From the Heart Stamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us and i hope to see you back again soon !!!

Perfect Cely! I am so glad that I was able to inspire you. I have another spinner card that I will post this Saturday. Love how you did the waves and it's just perfect for the Birdbrain image. 4 of them? You over achiever, you! Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteI love your card Cely! I want to go to the beach!! Awesome scene...fabulous waves, foam, and sand! Birdbrains make such a fun card!

ReplyDeleteCely, this is so sweet. I love the image and I love your use of the border dies to make the waves. Did you use sand paper for the sand?
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Cut it Up for our Summertime Memories challenge!
