I love this sketch so I'm using again, but with a little twist. I'm also trying to meet another deadline. I kept scratching my head as to how to approach the
From the Heart Challenge...follow the sketch or twist which is to use something recycled. Well, I took pics of me using pony beads and melting them down in the oven to use as enamel dots. The pony beads weren't serving any use, but changing them into useful dots made a lot of sense. I just accidentally erased the procedure of me baking. It didn't smell up the kitchen too much since my DH and I opened up the windows. Anyhooo....very pleased with the results and hope
From the Heart Stamp team will consider the beads, turned into useful dots as my recycled item. (Still mad that I erased the pics!)
I also split up the images from
Flappy Birdbrain and placed one of the outside and one on the inside and eliminated the thrid with masking....the beauty of digital!

Those birds are really cute! I love Photoshop and use it on most of my pictures. It's fun manipulating them! Your pony dots turned out great. I have those Skittle things, but never think to use them. I should put them where I can see them. Out of sight, out of mind!!

ReplyDeleteI used an old cookie sheet lined with parchment paper on the grill to melt my pony beads. Worked like a charm! I also tried melting perler beads but didn't get good results...the holes didn't fill in.
ReplyDeleteLove this one, too!!
