I love little puns. The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up set. The 3D chair idea is from Sizzix and the window die is from Memory Box, along with the tree branch and birds.
Once I decided what to make, the rest was very simple and quick. I made my chair on my Silhouette Cameo so I could size it.
PS Thank you all for the info on my scrapbook page. EVERYONE voted for the 3rd pic...which is the one I originally started out with but then started adding stuff to it. Guess I should had stopped with the original plan...go with your gut instincts. Sometimes you just need to leave a project and come back to it later.

So cute and so clever too! Love your card!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! I haven't made a pop-up card yet. Maybe for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI have made projects that just didn't sit right with me, so I put them off to the side of the table. I think what happens is I keep working on it in a part of my brain that I'm not aware of. Later when I see the project again, I know exactly what I want to do with it!

Fantastic, fun and delightful!
ReplyDeleteYep, yep! Turned out super cute!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant creation. Amazing details and a much better pop up than those made with the new dies!
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative Cely. I just love the punny sentiments too. Such a fun card!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute and charming! I have never tried a pop up card. I don't have any fancy cutting machines (yet) LOL....but I do love this card. Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, Cely! Love the 3D. You are just so creative with your cutting machine. I admit I'm still struggling with my little Cricut Mini and have yet to like anything I' ve done with it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, will have three "beach" theme cards on my blog this week (Tues., Weds., Fri.) and thought of you the whole time I was making each of them. :-D
This is stunning. I love the outside and the great relaxing look of the inside. Awesome. truly a work of art.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Cely, your are just too creative! What a wonderful pop up card!!

How awesome is that?! To have a chair just pop out at you. Completely awesome - even without the pillow.
