Lacy Sunshine...Sit a SPELL

2nd posting today to meet deadline!  Oh My!

I am under the wire to post this card.  I'm having the best time with the wonderful Lacy Sunshine images.  This one is called Darina & Bardolph.  The Lacy Sunshine challenge #41 is to use a window.  Now if you know me, I LOVE making cards using my own window svg.

I used MB shutter, my window, copics, MS goo punch, pumpkin and spider punches.  And,I  Print and Cut the image leaving a shadow on my Silhouette.  (Bad grammar...sorry)  I'm in a hurry..haha

A2, vertical fold, IO grass die, pop-ups for dimension. embossing folder and chalking on the embossed area

It's been awhile...need to drop-in for a SPELL

Oh My Gosh...I saw Sue's fold card at House Mouse and Friends October Blog Hop!!! today and I immediately had to sorta CASE it.  I'd been wanting to do this Concertina  fold card.  Again, I used this wonderful stamp from Starving Artistamps. I used my silhouette to cut a black circle frame for  the image. Other than that, everything else was just punches...sweet....haha (I used last year's purchased K & Company Halloween pack.)

A2, just a bunch of punches and folds

Things that go BUMP in the night...

I seem to always start a new posting by saying "I just love this image".  Now...really folks....I just don't think I could make a card with an image I "don't" like.  I might not like the "end product" of my card creation, but at least I start out with an image I love or like...hahaha

I could envision this witch's buns bumping into the night...(hee hee snort).  She's from Witches Trio at Starving Artistamp.

I get so much inspiration from card craft friends and fellow bloggers and this time it was Deloris at Stamping at the Lake.  We have been cyber friends for several long years.

A2 vertical, copics, ribbon, Cheery Lynn Frame die, Spellbinder die, flower punch, goggle eye and stitching

All girls have dreams.....

.....yup...even witches have hopes and dreams I guess....haha

I omitted the sentiment until an occasion arises.  Some options are: the witch is in, thinking of you, wishin' and thinkin'...you get the picture..lol

This darling image was a freebie from Beccy.  The image is called Witchy-Wreath.  The post before it is a black/white version. She's a very talented artist. She opened a online store.  Beccy informed be the image will always be free. I've always loved this image, but never used it. Now the time is right.  I made the flower using a punch and inked the edges. The flash of camera made the glossy accent on her hat look weird.

UPDATE:  Beccy now has a monthly challenge so I'm entering my card at September Challenge 1.
A2, stitching, Cheery Lynn scroll and flower accents dies, Spellbinder nestabilities, MS leaf punch, pearl and crimped the  spellbinder cut.

Sit a SPELL....

...with me.
Saturday Challenge
at
Catch the Bug
THEME:  Homecoming Dance (School colors)

RAH RAH RAH.  I feel I have been in school all my life. I also taught in a high school for 33 years and continue to sub...so yup...just about all my life....haha  I went the easy, colorful route for this challenge.  With 2 Masters, one from Clemson University (orange and purple) and the other from Furman University (purple and white), I knew immediately I was going Halloween with the great color choices.  (PS  In graduation programs, it list colors of degrees so people will know your major, like blue is for education.  One color is called "drab".  Who the heck would choose drab and what the hell color would that be! As God as my witness, I never saw a "drab" color in the processionals I was in....guess no one graduated with that degree..lol)

A2, buttons, punches, copics, glitter
Can you believe it...NO stitching.  I tried it and didn't like it... so I started over.  The background is Furman University and the image is Clemson.  Let's give it the ole college cheer...rah rah!

I used Brat Witch and Rickety Fence from Bugaboo Stamps.  Give me that school spirit and march on over to Catch The Bug and see the other school color cards.

Challenges:

Inky Impressions - Halloween
More than Favors - Halloween
Digital Tuesday - Happy Halloween
