at Paper Pretties

I chose to make a tree ornament and/or tag from one of today's new releases at Paper Pretties. My DIL loves moose images.  It will be a great little tag for her Christmas present. Part of the challenge for Paper Pretties is to use ribbon.  I added holly, red jewel beads and glitter, along with pop-ups for dimension and, of course, my beloved copics...lol

New Release Day

at Bugaboo Stamps

Oh My Goodness....I think this new image from Bugaboo Stamps is so cute.  And, what a mess he is in.... all tangled up in the Christmas tree lights.  Jingle and jangle on over to Catch The Bug and see some more delightful, fun cards made using him.

You Moose Go Fishin' when you feel better

        Our good friend Harry just had surgery.  He and his wife live near the beach.  He loves to fish when he can find the time.  He taught me the love of fishing and the art of shrimping...Folks, it's not easy....just go buy the shrimp off the trawler when it comes in...heads on and heads off.  There's also the art of poppin' heads off without being pronged.  His wife Carola is quick and speedy in this process.  If there was a contest, I think she could win.

        Anyhoooo.... we wish Harry a speedy recovery and can't wait till the weather warms up as well so we can all go fishing.

2nd posting today "Thank You this Moose"

As I have been saying for several days, I'm finishing some thank you cards and all will be mailed tomorrow.  I'm really enjoying the Lindy's Stamp Gang stamp sets that Deloris got me hooked on.  The moose came from the "We Moose You" gang.  I'm also trying to make 8 of each so I can give as presents....seems like family and friends would rather have some homemade cards rather than any other type of gift.  I will take that as a compliment and run with that thought....haha

Both are A2 size and  I used copic markers along with sewing and embellishments.

I took my moose svg I offered a few weeks ago and re-constructed the antlers to meet my needs for Valentine's.  Does anybody notice what I did to the antlers?  Again, keeping it simple but fun since I'm doing so many.

Moose Kinda Hanukkah

I have a HUGE hole in middle of my kitchen floor and that's a story for tomorrow.... today....

I was working on a dreidel card and switched gears when I saw this moose.  As a child, I had a big nose and a nickname given to me by some mean little boys was "Moose".  Yup...upon high school graduation where girls were given a graduation present of going to Europe, I opted to have nose surgery with my money.  Since that time, I've had my nose broken 4 times and have had 3 nose surgeries.  Guess I should had gone to Europe!  I want to invent a nose guard to protect me and other people who have problems of getting their nose broke on a regular basis!  Any whoooow, I think "this little moose" is adorable!! Maybe I was tired, but I thought this was really silly and fun so I decided I must make this card for the OWH challenge and Delightful Inspirations challenge. My daddy being Baptist and my mom being Catholic, I had to get my Jewish neighbors to make sure I had the right number of candles (menorah)...haha

        I wish I had the skills to be speedy because this took me several hours to make into an svg. I then had to decide how I would design the card.  I made it an easel card and loved the way it turned out.  I hope you like it too.  The svg will only be available for 3 days.
