It's been a long time! Living in Florida now!

Hello...It's been quite a long time since I have posted!!!

I'm now living in Cocoa Beach, Florida. We had a visit from Hurricane Dorian.  We were lucky this time and came out with minimal damage.

I've missed creating cards and trying to get my feet wet by creating some simple, fun beach cards.  I wasn't able to bring all my supplies in my move, but that just makes it a fun new challenge.

These dies were bought on Aliexpress.com through different companies.  I stitched the edges, and created my own sentiments using my dear Silhouette Cameo.  I was so excited to brush the dust off and seeing it still turned on.

Used some ranger inks on background paper and adding splashes of water drops.  (Thank you Lola for the inspiration.) Added shaker eyeballs on crab and used Copics to color. The little cocina shell was found right before the storm several days ago.

I call this "Marsh View" and reminds me of my brother's beach house on Pawley's Island, SC

This was made for my sweet grandson Wyatt.  I should had said, "Whale Hello".  I used Diamond Dust Liquid Pearls on both beach scenes.

All the cards are A2 size.

  3. So glad you are back to creating and you haven't lost your touch. Your cards are gorgeous! I haven't been crafting much lately. DH retired at the end of June and a lot of my time has been eaten up by his projects. My oldest brother was put in Hospice yesterday. Headed home to give them a break and help where I can. Glad there wasn't much damage with Dorian, at least for you. Super happy to see you back! Take care.

  6. Hey Cely, fun to sea your crafty talents again. Love all that is nautical...being a fellow Pisces. Happy to hear you had only minor issues with Dorian. I have a grandson named Wyatt too! I like "Whale...hello!" Art is therapy for me. Be well

  7. Hi!! Hola. Hello. I'm so glad to see you back and your blog looks all fancy and updated! Of course your cards are just gorgeous and wow, what beautiful backgrounds. I like your water drops much more than my mess of a try. The moon scene is just beautiful - I take it you inked up the moon to make it look textured? And I see the beach theme going on. Welcome back!
