Ladybug Ladybug...Fly Away Home

Such a lovely image Jodie at Bugaboo Stamps gave us as a freebie.  I'm finishing 2 others with flowers of different colors.  Ladybugs in my yard are not really red anymore....what happened?  I did a little research.  They haven't lost their color...haha, but rather, there is another species and that's why so many look burnt orangish-red.  (click pic to get a closer look)

A2, copic markers, stitching, fibers, MS punch, nestabilities floral accent

  2. Cely i love that fiber! It gives it a great little "umph" to such a springy card! Love the center of the flower as well!

  4. Beautiful card! I snagged this Bugaboo freebie to, but need to learn how to color with copics yet. BTW - I love ladybugs too, hence my blog design, name, etc.

  5. Your card is sooo great, Cely. Love the different textures and layers. There's more than one species of ladybug out there. The one without spots is from Japan and it bites. It was brought to deal with a different pest than ours and is becoming invasive (kind of like kudzu). When will we learn, sigh. Your coloring is wonderful as usual, I need to practice mine. Must be why I find ways to avoid it ;- ) Have a wonderful day. I'd address your next post, but the whole issue raises my blood pressure and I'll just enjoy your card and not think about people you are so discourteous, since it will change nothing.
