I know, it's been used to death, but I still love the sentiment. I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 45. I forced myself to drink and like it because my friends and I would go to a coffee house for gossip talk, coffee and dessert. As much as I was having a good time, I felt like I was missing out just drinking water. My husbands says I have learned to ruin a good cup of coffee by "foo foo-ing" it up.
Anyhooooo, back to the card. The window svg is mine which is always for sale for $1.50 (comes with 8 different windows). The ivy tendrils and curvy stem is a Poppy Stamp die. I also used the Primula Blooms Memory Box die. (Oops....where are my manners...I used a House Mouse image...house mouse stamps is what got me hooked on card making.)
I'm not a "pinky" sorta gal, but I indulged since I love a challenge and wanted to participate in several challenges, one being at Joan's Gardens.

(inside)...I forgot to add shadowing before I took picture...oops...sorry! |
Such an awesome card! I love that window and the perfect scene to go with it. (I don't drink coffee. I have 2 Master's degrees and my DH is a Ph.D. and neither of us ever learned to drink coffee. LOL!)
ReplyDeleteLol, I love coffee so of course I love your card! That window is awesome and I can't help but smile when I see what those little critters are up to.

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are lovely. HM is such a darling in his coffee sack.
Your window card is fabulous. Love the windows on cards.

Well that will teach me not to look closer at a card. I didn't realize HM was the inside until I went back and clicked on the card. I still love both parts of your card. :)

Great in pink, Cely! Super cute HM, and glad to see you dressing up your window! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun take on the challenge I love the window, and the sweet heart accents.
ReplyDeleteYour coffee story is funny! You started at 45 and I quit cold turkey in my late 20's...I was addicted to the stuff. I would get a headache if I didn't have a cup of coffee by 9 AM and nothing would make the headache go away except coffee. I don't know how to do anything in moderation so I had to quit cold turkey! I sure do miss the flavor though...mmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteYour card is just adorable. Love your windows - as always! I've got a window die on my wish list right now. It's DEFINITELY my next card making purchase - mostly because of all the cute cards you make with windows.
I LOVE House Mouse, they are adorable! Your window card is so cute Cely, I've got to do one these days, lol!
ReplyDeleteI want to come play with your dies!! I love the ones you use. Darling card love the colors and the sentiment.
