Winter Winter Snow Snow

We seem to always squeak by in the South from getting snow, but we still love winter scenes so I tried to capture the moment in this card.

The HOLIDAY REINDEER svg is by Lori at Doodle Pantry.  The tree dies are from Impression Obsession.  I just love this deer...very versatile!

Holiday Reindeer

I'm going to try better this year and make two holiday cards on the 25th of each month, except for the month of March.  We'll be busy moving into our new house...well...hopefully!

I got my inspiration from Kitty Kraft.  She loves doing outdoor scenes with dies.  I made this in early December, but just now able to post.  The Holiday Reindeer svg is from Lori at Doodle Pantry.  The tree dies are from Impression Obsession. I love the simplicity of it along with the all white theme.

I hope it is true that great things come in "small packages"...haha  I needed a way that would be fun to present my DIL with a Groupon and money....her Christmas present.  I just didn't want to present them in a card.  You can see the Groupon folded on one side and the money will be on the opposite side.

I did Santa's sleigh and then placed flying reindeer at different heights.  When the box is opened everything seems as if they are flying (movement). I created a sleigh and reindeer svg last year and the other reindeer is a MS punch.  The poinsettia is from SVGCUTS.com from the Wintergreen Collection.

Reindeer card

       I've been on hiatus!  Lots of things going on and finally over my ills....I just had to take a few days off.  Now I'm a few days behind...haha  I did this quick little card, but forgot to take a picture before sending.  I used embossing folder on front of card, swirl embossing folder on reindeer, a shiny rhinestone red nose and google eye, pretty ribbon and stitched around the front.  I chose to use the 2 piece card instead of the one you fold, but I will post both.  If I get another one completed tomorrow, I will post. You message will slide down in the front pocket.

        Thank you everyone for your kind and thoughtful comments regarding my "Fight for the Cure" challenge card on October 26.  Some of you may not know, but I just learned earlier today that my card was chosen for the "special sponsor prize" of a Pro Marker set which was a special donation by Creative Craft World for Catch the Bug (Bugaboo stamps) Challenge ....something I never expected.  I will use them to make beautiful cards and remember the beautiful people that forever touched my life.  And let's all continue to fight for the cure.  As Catch the Bug said, "pick a cause and stand by it,  make someone aware of how these issues affect us and how we can bring attention and awareness to our cause."

       Now....the freebie reindeer svg.  This came from an older punch I had and it "had seen its better days.  It was just a matter of time before the old girl was going to give me her last punch"...so I thought I had better make an svg so I continue to have some reindeer.  Do not make it any smaller than it already is and be sure you have a sharp blade and a good sticky mat.

Bugaboo Reindeer Christmas + freebie

.....still working on the hole in the kitchen and now have the "granddogs" for the weekend.  I haven't told the story yet about the kitchen, but I'm taking pictures.  I finished this card for the Delightful Challenges and Bugaboo Challenge , and CDAC Challenge using 2 of their bugaboo cute reindeer images. With the type of card I made, it's hard to see all the sides in just one snapshot. 

       The freebie is the Star of David, but then I realized "after" doing it, there are a zillion already out there in cyber space....oh well! (working on a Hello Kitty for my friend)
