Coolest Birthday Ever...

I saw this darling image over at my friend Linda's blog and had to jump in and participate in the progressive challenge at Deedee Digis.  I cut this little fella out with my Cameo, leaving a small border around him.  Another friend is approaching her 49th birthday....so I hope she likes the card.

Pop-up cards are always a challenge for me to photograph.  I gave it my best shot...lol  Buttons, stitching, heart dies, string, glossy accents, ribbon, copic markers and I call it done.

Snow Shaker Card

It's been a long time since I have made a shaker card.  What better time than now with winter upon us.  Here in the South, we can only hope to get a glimpse of a few snowflakes.

Doodle Pantry has this fun set called Igloo Fun. The set has lots of goodies like the outline and pre-colored images, sentiments and coordinating papers.  There is still time to join in on the January Challenge #42.  You have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Doodle Pantry Store and a free set just by following the guidelines for the challenge.

Happy Brrrrr-day!

My very good friend Angela has a January birthday so this adorable Doodle Pantry image I thought would be perfect for her card.  The set is call Winter Birthday, a December Release.  The set comes with many different pre-colored images and the outlines, along with darling sentiments and wonderful coordinating papers.

I was going to make the penguins wobble, but my wobbles were too big, so settled on adding lots of pop-ups for dimension. Along with some stitching, liquid pearls, stickles and cloud punch, I call it done and ready to mail.

Join in on our December Challenge #41.  Following the guidelines, you will receive the Goose Me Set free and a chance to win a wonderful gift certificate to the Doodle Pantry Store.

What's not to love about a penguin? I want to squeeze one till a fish pops out of it's mouth...lol  I have a friend who's birthday is in January and loves penguins....so this has to be the perfect card.  But now that you have seen it Cheryl, I can't send it to you!

I really like this sketch.  It's headed to my archive files as a favorite.  I'll blow off the dust at some point and use again.

I hope you are chillin' at home or shopping your brains out this BLACK FRIDAY morning!  If you still have the strength, head over to Bugaboo Stamps  and get the FREE Penguin.  It won't cost a dime!  HAHA  Want some more inspiration...check out our Catch The Bug blog.

North Pole Penguin

Ok, last Christmas card until closer to next December. My special students at Eastside High School also chose to do this card for some family and friends. The card consist of all cuts from Svgcuts.com "Santa's North Pole Workshop". The embossing was from the Cuttlebug "snowflake" folder. A little glitter, ribbon and puff paint for snow and you have yourself a chillin' penguin.
