I danced like no one was watching....

(Inside):  My court date is next Friday.

Bah ha ha ha!   Now how could someone turn a beautiful sentiment into something silly? But, I have to admit, I hooted when I saw it.  So I did another card with Ballerina Eunice from Art Impressions and used the sentiment that my friend Lola sent me.

I did 4 of the these cards but each having tad different designer paper. (Nana Connie shared this great DCWV paper.)  I have several friends (2 males and 2 females) who could use a little extra laugh just about now.  The slippers, I thought, were from SVGCUTS, but they're not, but they have a great pair there for free.  The slippers are from  the Silhouette Store.

Same size, used Paper Studio paper pack...tears easy and not happy about that

Cards for Men:  Humorous ( Please don't reject me.  I'm sending the bottom card to my dear in-law who is very sick and each week I send him a funny card.  Eunice is not who I would call feminine.  If you do reject my cards...it's still going to him....haha)

You're Never Too Old

Good Grief....finally made a card after being on a 2 weeks hiatus!  I don't have a sentiment for the card yet.  I love this little lady from Art Impressions so I finally sat down and colored her.  Something about this old gal that makes me smile. I decided to follow the sketch from Catch the Bug for their Stella Says Sketch Challenge #130.

The paper is from the "Latte Stack" from DCWV....wish I could find some more.  The ballerina slippers are from SVGCUTS.

Teepee Card

I was commissioned to do a birthday card, but the request had me "scratching my head".  The theme had to include birthday, a ballerina, and a specific beach scene sent to me of the little birthday girl.  Putting that all on one card seemed impossible since I couldn't get them to relate and only had two days to complete card.  Teepee card popped into my head.  The card folds flat and fits into a 5x7 envelop.  These pictures are not the greatest, but I am in a hurry to get the card to the purchaser this morning.  I decorated the envelop with her name with sea creatures and balloons streaming down.

I didn't want to add to much to this side since so many other sides were already a little busy

Her beautiful name. I lightly taped the name so she could play with the letters or remove them to put somewhere else
