Baby onesie

I saw this at Paper Pastime and knew immediately I had to CASE for our first grandchild due October 3. I bought a package of three onesies...this is one of 3 I did, all being different.

I purchased Easyweed Heat Vinyl and followed Denise's video.  It worked!  TADA  I was very happy with the results.  Now my college son wants me to do some shirts for  "Gamecock" football days.

Was in a hurry and lighting is bad....sorry!

Have a chairful day!

I love little puns. The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up set. The 3D chair idea is from Sizzix and the window die is from Memory Box, along with the tree branch and birds.

Once I decided what to make, the rest was very simple and quick. I made my chair on my Silhouette Cameo so I could size it.

PS  Thank you all for the info on my scrapbook page.  EVERYONE voted for the 3rd pic...which is the one I originally started out with but then started adding stuff to it.  Guess I should had stopped with the original plan...go with your gut instincts.  Sometimes you just need to leave a project and come back to it later.

A2, outside, vertical

Inside...oops...left off the little pillow I made

Sweet Baby Smith

First, the lighting is bad....I know
Second, need opinions if you can get past the bad lighting

I have three different pictures with the grass and gate....which one do you think is more pleasing to the eye?

12x12 ...with gate and grass

...with just gate

....with just grass

The letters and date are loosely put on since I have to change the name once they announce it.  Of course, the date can change too.

This is the last page.....which by the way, is the first page of the scrapbook...haha

My Life is Going Too Fast!

A2, twine, clock charm, copics

This really CAS card has my SIL Dawn written all over it.  She has more air miles than some pilots.  If she's not flying from state to state, then it's from country to country.  Sometimes it can seem glamours but other times it can take a real "toll on the body and mind."

I saw this at Sue's Stamping Stuff and knew I had to use this image (Snoopy/Linus Happy Birthday) for my Dawn and get it in the mail so she can pick it up between one of her many many flights/travels.

Time flies when you are having fun or work, work, work...that's what the clock is suppose to represent.

Guess Who?

(inside):   .....is Thinking of YOU!

Ok folks, I really thought this would turn out to be a sweet card...and it is....AFTER you open it.  The front of the card looks a little "scary".  I thought the disguise glasess would be a fun addition, but maybe a little over the top!  Oh well...the best laid plans  haha

A wonderful image from the Quirky Owl set from Doodle Pantry.  Sometimes you leave the best for last and in this case....the inside.

Come along and join the July Challenge at Doodle Pantry.  Just for participating you will receive wonderful inspiration and a selected set "free" from Doodle Pantry.  Hooray!

A2, stitching, Lettering Delights glasses cut file, silver owl charm, MB branch die

Flowers for sale

I'm fascinated with old cars.   Nickie (Stiggy's Cards) from the United Kingdom has a classic/vintage car I enjoy reading about....a Morris Minor Traveller.  A challenge is starting at Sugar Creek Hollow - wheels (must be vintage or shabby chic)....hope this qualifies.  The image is from Doodle Pantry called Hotrod Pickup. I used the pre-colored image.

I also got my inspiration from the photos below my card.

A2, IO grass die, snowflake punch, my planter cut file, cloud punch, copics, pop-ups for dimension

Hello Friend....What's cluckin'?

I bought this adorable "just released" svg set from My Scrap Chick called Shirley, Goodness, Mercy.  It is $1 off till the end of today (Thursday) and then it will go back to regular price.  I see a lot of cut files and this one struck me as "different".  I cut it out using my wonderful Silhouette Cameo.

I made my own pop-up card.  I left the outside CAS since I was putting so much on the inside.  You can't see the bottom of the page, but it's also decorated with matching yellow strips of paper.  I used faux stitching instead of real stitching...haha

I'm entering it into the Silhouette Challenge: use your Silhouette machine and use faux stitching.

A2, mini fancy flourish (mb), Studio Girl sentiment, flower punch, flower jewel

Inside of card, LaLa Land scallop border die, pop-ups for dimension, cut out with my Cameo machine.

Life is SWEETER.....

(inside): ....when shared with friends

Trust me...this card was so easy to make!  I used a new July Release set called Black Eyed Susan from Doodle Pantry.  I used the beautiful pre-colored flower images, took them into my Silhouette Cameo program and used the Print & Cut feature.  Everything else were punches and dies.  I already had a stash of clouds, fences and flower pots punched and cut out since I used them so much. The grass and watering can are dies.  (PS I was inspired and cased the talented Kitty Kraft).

Join the Doodle Pantry July Challenge.  You will received a free selected set (Holiday Greetings) for participating, and a chance to win a gift certificate to the store.  Hooray!

A2, copics, grey pearl, pop-ups, distressing, deckle scissors for bottom grass, butterfly punch

(inside) mini fanciful flourish, circle punches, butterfly punch, old acrylic sentiment

It's a Spring Thing!

A2, along with stitching, twine, highlighting and silver charms

It feels like summer when I'm stuffing myself with strawberries, but strawberries are in full-bloom in late Spring and the first days of summer here.  I wanted to use a few strawberries for my display with the card, but I hate my last one....oh dear!

This is an oldie-but-goodie from Doodle Pantry called Strawberry Ants. I wanted to make sure the strawberry bg paper showed, but in the pic it looks as though it may had drowned out my darling image.  Up close and personal it looks great....haha

UPDATE:  Additional NEW RELEASE: Country Flavors Digi Paper
A HUGE set of full sheet (8.5x11) PNG digital papers!   BONUS!  Includes 16 combination sheets by color for those who only use a little of each patter
Colors coordinate with MANY of the realistic fruits and vegetables and farm related products here at the shop, and quite possibly many more set

Shoes and Friends.....

(Inside):   You can never have too many.

I know....I know...the sentiment has been done to death, but it's a great one and many of my none crafting friends haven't seen it...lol

The card is two-fold...using one of my favorite Doodle Pantry images, Fancy Shoes (There is a pre-colored set; I used the b/w set), and having the opportunity to display a card for Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge.

A2, copics for coloring shoe, stitching, circle punches, fancy circle die, liquid pearls, ribbon, SU window punch, or fiskar border punch

In a pickle?

(inside:) Here I am!
That's what friends are for.

What a delightful, fun image as part of the July Releases from Doodle Pantry.  The images are from Pickle Ants.  The images come b/w, pre-colored, and with matching background papers and sentiments.  I used copics on the front image and copics along with the pre-colored image on the inside.

I also used Doodle Pantry's Bottle & Jars set, turned it into a shaped card and ate some pickled okra to  celebrate the card creation...haha

SPECIAL 25% off Sale (July 1-7)...use coupon code JULY25OFF

A2, twine, clear acetate sheet for shiny jar effect, copics, tag punch

A2, same card without the pickle ornament

Happy Birthday music

I'm trying to find more ways to incorporate the La Rue Flourish die by Memory Box into a variety of cards.  I have a weakness for dies....some are very expensive.  I'm trying to rationalize my addiction by using more this coming month...haha

I used "Happy Birthday" sheet music as one of my background papers and inked the edges. A little stitching, button, pearl, flower, music and leaf punch and I think I have a quick, pretty, CAS birthday card waiting to be mailed.

When you come to the end of your rope...

...tie a knot and hang on...(quote by Franklin D. Roosevelt)

It was instant love for this image when I saw Cheryl's at Cafexpressions.   The image source is unknown.  The free sentiment was from Rainbow Echo Designs at Whimsy Stamps back in June 2010. I removed the rope knot image and made a real rope knot with heavy thread...colored it yellow with copics.

A quick and CAS card, so I made several to send to friends and family. ( I also used Cheryl's sentiment on some of the cards.)

Wishing you a day bright with sunshine...

CAS is "in" right now....maybe it's a summer thing.  Anyhow, I cased a card I saw on Pinterest. I'm doing better with saving original artist's names, but slipped on this one.

I used a Memory Box swirl die and a Peachy Keen face stamp.  I'm trying to "jass up" my faces with highlights and shadows.  I also cased the sentiment.  I just used Pages on my Mac to type it.

A2, Darice cloud embossing folder, stitching, flower punch, jewel, pop-up for dimension

Delight in the little things

This is one of my favorite sentiments.  As I get older, I'm appreciating the little bits of time I can steal to be with family and friends..talking, laughing and the camaraderie.  I appreciate those last few strawberries that are  begging to be eaten...haha  I like getting those last few blueberries off the bush before the birds get them...but trust me...I left them plenty...haha   I appreciate being able to take my dogs for a walk because I wasn't sure what kind of shape I was going to be in after back surgery.

Yup, delight in the little things.  And, I'm delighted to create a card with the mice and raspberries from the Berry Nice Mice set from Doodle Pantry.

A2, stitching, ribbon, homemade raspberry background

Getting older is just a part of life...

(inside)   ....YOU go first!!!

My DB's birthday is just a few days away.  Too bad he lives so far away.  I'm sending several cards and spreading them out over a few days just for fun.

I'm almost embarrassed to show this card being so CAS.  I wanted to add more, but I really wanted the background paper to shine.  I think he will be happy just knowing I sent a card(s).

This is Melvin from Art Impressions....one of the many I colored several months back and just now getting around to putting it on a project.

Let Freedom Ring

Freedom Eagle is one of Doodle Pantry's June Releases.  I appreciate this release in June so I have time to make some cards and get in the mail before July 4th.

I used Spellbinders Splendid Circle die, I cut out a circle 4.14" on my Silhouette Cameo.  I used a 2.25 circle punch and fussy cut around the wings.

Come along...join the Doodle Pantry June Challenge....still plenty of time.  You have a chance to win a gift certificate and will also receive the Quirky Stork set free just for participating .

A2, twine, and two types of brads

Cut It Up:  Red, White, and Blue (also use dies and cut files)
