Tea Time

Love teapots and tea.  Yup, and being from the South, I love ice cold SWEET TEA.  I used a  teapot/cup set die from Impression Obsession.  I used Elizabeth Crafts Lots Of Pops die for the base.  Making one saves money, but doing a quick die saves time. ( I cased the "inside" from someone on Pinterest.)

The pic I took of the card's front was so bad, I have opted not to show, but it has stacked teacups with embellishments.  I changed the paper and sentiments on the other 3 cards I made.  I also added a teabag on the front of 2 since I was able to make a large pocket.

Your thoughtfulness was TEA-rrific 2nd posting

My neighbors brought over a pan of lasagna while I was sick.  I couldn't eat it, but it allowed my DH not to starve.  Since I wanted to do a thank you card and a card for QKR challenge, I decided to merge the two together.

I used digi 11407 Hello from QKR Stampede. I using it in their Challenge #128: circles.  I bought the Tea Easel card cut file from My Scrap Chick for $1.  It comes with 4 different patterns.

5x5, copics, tea charm, ribbon, silk flower, it has a pocket on top for a tea bag

A Little Tea will cure your ills

OBG (Oldie But Goodie) Day
at Catch the Bug

Raggedy Nurse was the perfect image for my project.  I have a friend who's a nurse and she herself has been "under the weather".  I enclosed all types of wonderful aromatic teas, a small container of honey, and some Biscotti cookies.  I figured she could pass it on to a sick friend, being she's a nurse.

With my wonderful Cameo, I cut out my 3D teapot from Silhouette.  This one is rather large so there was lots of room inside for goodies.

I accidentally forgot to color hair for photo, so I have also included the touch-up on raggedy nurse.  Head over to Catch The Bug and see other fun "oldie but goodies".

K&C paper, approx. 7x 5.25, copics, glitter, pearls

colored hair

Tea Time with my friend

ABC Monday
(Anything But a Card)
at
Catch the Bug

Yes, I broke down and bought a Silhouette Cameo.  I love the "Print and Cut" feature.  The P/C feature allows you to print and then cut around a jpeg and/or png images....not just an svg.  This 3-D teapot was a $.50 purchase and was soooo easy to put together.  For a finishing touch, I added this darling Tea Time image from Bugaboo Stamps.  The pink and green tag behind the image was quickly made with the Silhouette Studio.
Head over to Catch The Bug for other ideas for ABC Monday.

Teapot is about 5" high and made with one sheet of 12x12
Copics, pearl, ribbon, MS leaf punch, old flower punch
K&C Paper Pack

I plan to head over to my neighbors house with all types of tea bags in the teapot as a surprise.

Challenges:
Inspire Me Fridays - Anything Goes
Sassy Studio Designs - Something new (my new 3-D svg teapot)

I'm a Little "Teapot"

....short and stout.   I love teapots.  You will also find some adorable ones at Svgcuts.com.  ( This week,  I am away on a  private college tour trip within my state so I'm away from my cards, but I can offer some free svgs during the week.)
