Never too early to say "Merry Christmas" in this day and age!

.... It's Challenge #300 at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with an optional theme "Christmas".  This little House Mouse came off my CD.  I can't find it anywhere on the web to give a link. These days, computers don't come with a CD reader so I'm transferring them on to a thumb drive.

Cyberfriends, if you have ever followed my blog before, you can tell by my cards lately that I'm very predictable.  I will try to improve, but it will take time.  I'm still getting my feet wet again.

I use copics for mouse and ink.  "Merry Christmas" was computer generated on Silhouette Cameo and I added the ink drops.  Stockings were die cuts from Gina Marie Designs

JOY shaker shaped card

I seem to be creating a lot of shaped cards these past few weeks.  They do stand out a little more than a regular A2 card.  They don't really take that much longer.  I simply print/cut and then put together.

Ok...this one took a tad longer because I added a little girl called Warm Winter Cocoa and then added acetate and sprinkles to make it a shaker card.  I made 3 of these.  I also added a burgundy offset to make it "pop" a little more.  The kit is called Joy & Noel Aperture Care Kit.  WOW...it comes with so many options for both words.

Come join the fun seasonal Challenge #55 at Paper Creator's Craft.  If you make a purchase at Paper Creator Store, you can use CELY in the code area for 20% discount.

JJ Christmas Box Surprise

For some reason this image and sentiment (JJxmasbox)made me laugh.  I could use a good laugh right now during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

When you open the card, the sentiment can kinda catch you by surprise.  This is "so not me".  I'm not ready for the dog house, but I also know I'm not in college anymore darning the tight hip hugger pants and hair to my waist....haha   I still have my hips...still have hair....and I can see my waist. I guess that still has to count for something. LOL

If I made you laugh, then I've done my job with this card!

A2, colored with copics, my own window design (svg)

Memory Box holly wine, red berry jewels, brick embossing folder with reverse inking

Inside of card... also Wink of Stella
PS...I've never woken in a box...haha

Yup...4 cards ready for next year

Drawstring Gift Bags for the card sets

After making all the cards for the in-law ladies, I decided I needed some way to present them nicely.  It was a rainy, cold, icky day and I didn't want to drive to the fabric store, plus I wanted to save money...SO...I found some scrap pillowcase material I had bought this past summer.

I used Staz-On and stamped with my oldie Christmas House Mouse stamp and sentiment.  I used thin red ribbon to make the "draw-string" for the bags.  Dang, I guess I need tags now....this is becoming a never ending project.

approximately 6x9 after all the sewing

used my Misti for the stamping

Happy Holidays

Another lovely card kit from Paper Creator called Bear Christmas Quick Card.  The only thing I did different is to put it on my circle step card I created in Design Studio.  It was all Print/Cut and put together.  I used some of my own paper from an old pack but the kit comes with digital papers.

There is still time to join Challenge #55 at Paper Creator's Craft - theme: Christmas.  Use CELY in code area for 20% discount on a purchase.
5x5, but due to fold, it fits in an A2 envelop

look at all the fun circled layers of the bear

used Glossy Accents on all the berries
If you would like the Silhouette design for the circle step card, then send me an email (do not leave request in comment area since it doesn't leave me your email).  My email is at the end of About Me.

Not a Creature Was Stirring....

It's the beginning of our December Challenge at Paper Creator's Craft #55 - theme - Christmas. This little sleeping creature came from Boozy Christmas Ultimate Kit.  I use A2 Pop Out Book by Lori Whitlock (purchased from Silhouette Store.) I layered him several times for added dimension.

You are welcome to enter CELY in code area for 20% off on your purchase to the store.  A nice little offering by Debbie for us to offer followers.

A2 but can be sized up easily to a 5x7
Everything was cut out using Cameo

I made a slight mistake...I should had said "not even this poor drunk bear.  Oh well, it's easy enough to change the sentiment Could almost pass as a little fat mouse..haha

Holiday Chirps

I wanted something a little different for cash and gift cards.  I saw several Zipper You Tube videos.  I decided to make my own in Design Studio and cut with my Cameo.  I also used the adorable Christmas Birdie from Doodle Pantry.

Today, my first zipper is for money/gift card.  Tomorrow, I'll use a zipper for a sentiment. If you would like the Zipper Studio file, email me.  (Do NOT leave a request comment on my blog since it does not give me "your" email.)

A2..Step 1...any base you like and wording or pictures
(PS...the sentiment is green but looks black in picture)

Step @: money or gift card very lightly taped in center...needs to be between the perorated lines seen in next step and picture

Step 3: use good strong glue to affix the top panel over the money/gift card

close up of the perorated lines on blue dotted paper and tab for grabbing

The white card is my prototype to show how you tear open to find the money/gift card

I also used Gina Marie Fancy Lace Rectangles and Stitched Scalloped Circle sets.

Wyatt's 1st Christmas

I said I was finished with my Christmas cards, but I left one important card to make - my grandson's 1st Christmas card.

Lori Whitlock's shadow box came together very nicely.  It will fold flat to fit a 5x7 envelop with just one stamp.  However, you can resize it.  Santa Tree Shadow Box card is on sale for $1 at the Silhouette Store till December 5.  (Lori provides a video tutorial on You Tube.)

5x7, I added red accent paper on both sides of box

front view...kept it CAS....only added "Wyatt's 1st Christmas"

O Holy Night

First time in history I sent my Christmas cards out early. I made 4 different style Christmas cards for family and friends....this is the main one.  I made 12.  My prototype was sent to someone by accident.  If you got it, forgive the mistake....haha

I bought this Pop Up Box Wisemen from Lori Whitlock at her store, but you can also purchase through the Silhouette Store.  I used gold foil paper behind the words, and pop-ups behind city and wisemen for dimension.  I reduced it down to a 5.25x5.25 to fit in my 5.5 square envelopes.  The dark blue paper had bazzill texture.

I don't know why it is showing weird shadows under the wisemen

You can't tell, but star is on separate hanger. Offers lots of dimension.
Wink of Stella on Star

Added pocket on back for note and they can re-use the card

Merry and Bright

If you have followed me for awhile, you know I like doing window scenes using my own svg windows.  BUT, this beautiful winter window in the Seasonal Window Set from Beccy's Place was yelling "use me instead"!  I took the adorable Winter Song Birds and Holly Wreath from Doodle Pantry and married all of them.
5x5, kept sentiment simple
I kept it CAS by only doubling/layering the wreath and birdies singing to add some dimension along with some sewing around the border.
stitching, angle view, pop-ups for dimension, Cameo for extra layers
without sentiment, border is dark green but looks black

I was delighted to be one of last Saturday's winners at Beccy's Place.  My win:  choose any one set from her store FREE.  It was the Seasonal Window Set I chose.  You really need to check it out.

Jingle All the Way WOBBLE card

It's been awhile since I've made an Art Impression card but today was today.  I adored Stamp Owl's card, so I cased.  This is Bells Ring Set. I can make wobbles, but I ordered a huge package at a great price.

I made the circle rocker in Inkscape and then transferred to my Design Studio in Silhouette.  I see many tutorials to make them by hand but I wanted one I could make quickly with my Cameo and size it automatically without "crunching numbers".  I'm not putting it in "Drop Box", but more than happy to share.  Just drop me an email...email is under my "About Me" if you click it.  DO NOT leave a note under comments because it does NOT leave me your email address so I'm not able to reply to you.

Snowflakes for Sale - Purple version

I think this QKR Snowman is so silly and adorable.  Beccy at Beccy's Place asked what colors we like to work with.  I enjoy pink and grey together, purple and pink, and yellow to make me happy.  I think purple and pink are fun for holidays and snow. My grand daughter is all about purple and pink.  My friend Connie, at My Grammy's Attic, loves purple too....so I had them in mind while making this card.

I'm joining the QKR Stampede Challenge #216 - theme is splatters and sprays.  Well, I love how snowflakes splatters on my face..don't you!  I'm also joining Beccy's Challenge - Month of Holiday Cards.

A2, glitter paper, copics for coloring, die cut splatter spots

Continuing with the snowmen

I see these snowmen animated singing tenor like "Let it Snow" or deep voices singing "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas", the version from the movie Home Alone...haha

I just love this image so I just changed up a little and put in a rectangle shadow box.  I did 5 cards in all with these Snowfolk art images from Beccy.  I actually won a set so I can't wait to go shopping and make some more cards using her wonderful images.  I'm entering A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's - Christmas inspiration.

A2, Lawn Fawn rolling hill and tree dies and snow stamp background.....used wet embossing powder and snow paper.

House Mouse time and this one is also from the House Mouse Triple CD set.  (The background paper is also from the CD...a little pale, but it was paired with it.) I used Lori Whitlock's Circle Pop Out Card from the Silhouette Store.

Joyful Singing - Shaker Card

It's the November Challenge #53 at Paper Creator Crafts.  Theme: ANYTHING GOES  What a great opportunity to get some of my holiday cards made.  It was VERY hard to choose which image to use for the start of our November challenge.  Throughout the month, I will be creating more fun cards from Debbie at Paper Creators.

This little trio is called Carol Singing Mice Multi Kit from Paper Creator.  It comes with several different ways to complete your card along with background papers and pre-colored...how nice is that!!!

If you plan to place an order at Paper Creator, please enter code CELY to save 20% off the total.
A2, snow button, acetate sheet and used FUZE for sealing

JOY to you and me

I made four of these little cuties.  It's pretty CAS, so I was sure to add stitching, pop-ups for dimension, glossy accents on the berries, and a sprinkle of glitter in the snow and leaves. The image is another from the House Mouse Triple CD.  I'm so glad Deloris talked me into it.  Actually, her cards using the set really impressed me.

I've picked out a different Christmas design for family members.  I will only make 10. "Heavens to Betsy" I wish I could send out cards to all my friends, especially all my card crafter friends.  How does one choose without hurting someone else's feelings?  No really, if you have a solution, please drop me an email.

Bethlehem - December Release Day at Doodle Pantry

I always enjoy making Christmas cards but each year I always choose one to make 8 of the same for family members.  This year I chose one of Doodle Pantry's December Releases called Bethlehem Cut File.  Even though I used two layers of pop-ups for dimension, I can still mail each card with just one stamp.

I'm horrible about getting cards mailed so these cards were mailed the day after Thanksgiving !!!

Doodle Pantry's December Challenge will begin today at noon.  Join in and have the chance to win a GC to the store.

JOY

This sweet image called Angel Joy is the November Stamp of the Month at From the Heart Stamps .  I received her free for participating in their October Challenge.  So, now I will use her for their November Challenge,  They are also having their "weekly challenge #86 with a twist" so I'm participating in that too.

A very CAS card letting Angel Joy be the center of attention.

A2, stitching, copics coloring, and lots of sickles on her wings and halo

just another angle of the card, used Lili Inker banner die
