OKAY...we haven't seen the first snowflake here in South Carolina, but we are having our fair share of cold cold cold! Not only do I think the From the Heart Stamps Little Snowman image is darling, I just love the sentiment that came with it.
I followed the sketch for Challenge #94 but I just couldn't do the twist...monochromatic. I love them, but this little card still needed a little pop so I gingerly added the lime green. I'm also entering this little card in the progressive Monthly (January) Challenge at From the Heart Stamps.

Beautiful card! Great use of the sketch, love it.
ReplyDeleteCute card Cely...great take on the sketch! I love the pop of color! We've had plenty of cold days here in North Texas too, but NO snow so far! (Shhhhhhh don't tell Mother Nature!)

Oh my gosh...not only is this the cutest little snowman, but a perfect sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteCely, the green mittens fits so great with "Little Snowman" green skarf - you are right a pop of color makes it WOW. Great take with our Sketch too this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining our FREE Stamps of the Month January Challenge and Sketch Challenge with a Twist this week @ From the Heart Stamps !!
Your so right, a lovely sentiment and a super snowman. No snow here in the NE of Scotland...yet! Jx
ReplyDeleteThose mittens are BRADS? I gotta spend more time in the brad aisle! This card is beautiful, Cely. I agree, the pop of green really takes it over the top. I love that sentiment, too. If you leave the top and left side of that angled piece open, you could slip a tag in there!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the beach! Evelyn

It's almost monochrome. I give you points for that! But I do love the little pop of green. Lots of great texture on this one!
