NEW RELEASE
at Bugaboo Stamps
I've been playing with clear acetate sheets. I changed image to svg in SCAL. I cut the measuring cup on acetate and also cut the same shape into the card and glued the clear cup onto the front. Her head is on the outside and her body is on the inside to give the effect of her inside the measuring cup. I guess this is the kind of card that you have to see in person to get the full effect. I also used the spoons in Afternoon at Auntie Elaine's set from SVGCuts. I use this set SO MUCH!!!
Head over to Catch The Bug Blog to see what other delight cards were made from this cutie set.
5x5, the brown is a lot softer than in the pic, copics, stitching |

I just finished looking at the new stamps & they are so cute. Using the acetate was a great idea & I love the sweet little cookie button. Are the spoons cut out of silver metallic?
ReplyDeleteP.S.>Hope you have a better day today.
Cely, this is so cool. I have been trying to figure out how you did this all week when I see it in the file over at Bug. Thanks for the deets and the wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteHow clever! The acetate works perfectly. I love the cookie button too. Adds a nice finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteI am totally loving this digis - to - SVG's you've been doing and plan to do a little CASE-ing, just so ya know! (not your work, just the IDEA of converting digis to svg's...)
ReplyDeleteCan you really "CASE" an IDEA?? Maybe Scrap-lift is a better word? (-: LOL!!
You've chosen the perfect images for it, too!
Using the acetate is just creative GENIUS!! How CUTE with her head poking out of the cup!!
Fabulous as always!!!
