Bugaboo is having a A Stitch in Time Challenge (stitching and Fall colors). Sew....I dusted off my old reliable sewing machine and went to work. I made 4 different cards and will post one each day. I used Bugaboo bear and Trina Clark images, stitched the frame, banged some small grommets in, added some buttons, and used copic and glitter markers. This is also a OWH Challenge for today.
Size: A2 |
This card is absolutely adorable... I love it...
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I have always been sewing machine challenged. I took sewing in jr. high and I failed the class. I love stitching on cards. I always do mine by hand though. I have often pondered picking up a machine, just to stich on cards with. I'm pretty sure my husband would think that I lost my last marble. I love your stitched card! It turned out great!
ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable, so many things to look at.
ReplyDeleteAww how cute..I love the stiching and how you added the bow with the eyelets! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat background for this butterfly bear. Thanks for playing with us over at Bugaboo

ReplyDeleteSo, so cute! I love the way you used the two images together. Thanks for playing along with the Bugaboo challenge.
ReplyDeleteCan you just sew with a machine on paper the same way your would do material? I have been scared to try. The card is super cute!

This is so darn cute. Thanks for joining us at the Bugaboo Challenge thuis week. Love to see your work always. In answer to the stitching question I have a template that I got from Stampin Up eons ago. It has several size spaced holes to use. It comes in a pack with a foam pad and a cutting mat. It is called a mat pack.
