Inside: But in my head I'm quite busy!
Don't like to do 2 postings on any given day, but tomorrow is the last day to enter the QKR Challenge #130 : Stitching (With my luck, I'll forget to enter tomorrow....that has happened before...haha)
I used the grasshopper from QKR stamps to help create the easel card. Stitching is around the main image. Grass and cat tail dies were added elements.
A2, copics, tree bark embossing folder, Wink of Stella on wings |
pop-ups on grass for dimension, brad for fold hold |
How fabulous!! a great card with a fantastic image and sentiment, I LOVE this!

Simply Paper Card Design
Love it, such fun and beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteI just got this image myself but it's going to be a little while before I can use him. I love what you did with him, Cely, and that sentiment is perfect! Fab coloring and love the grass. Now, is it OK if I tease you for forgetting that you had already entered the QKR Stitching challenge this week? I don't mind -- I love seeing everything you make and it's perfectly OK to enter twice. :-D Good luck, my friend.

ReplyDeleteI am a little behind and stumbled on the 'grasshopper' story first...started at the top and headed back! Such a fun memory...love that this card brought back such a fun memory from your little person days!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Cely!! This card is AWESOME!! LOVE the purple shoes!! Your coloring is FANTASTIC and the dies are PERFECT!

P.S. As for grasshoppers...I DO NOT like them! We have tons of them...YUCK!
Here I am again...This time with my DT hat on! LOVE the sentiment...I know a few people that are like that! Thanks for joining us this week at QKR Stampede Challenge "Stitching"!

Your card is absolutely darling! No grasshoppers where I lived. We had cicadas and pretty much did the same things with them (flew them and stuffed them down peoples shirts!)
ReplyDeleteThis is very original - I don't believe I have ever seen a grasshopper digi before! And you managed to make his look so cute. Love how his sneakers match the dragonfly!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite QKR Stampede images, and I love this card! Thanks for entering our "Stitching" challenge this week at QKR Stampede. Julie, DT member
