Breast Cancer Awareness
It's sad, but honestly, I think everyone I know has had someone in their family that has had to tackle breast cancer. I lost my aunt and two friends to breast cancer. BUT, with today's science, I'm so happy to say I know many who have won the battle!!!
I'm actually late getting my check-up due to our moving. I know, still no excuse, but I'm calling today to make my OB/GYN appointment and get my mammogram date set also. I always do this it at Christmas time. I give myself this gift.
I'm using the sweet I Will Survive image from Doodle Pantry on my little scallop bag, which came from the Silhouette Store. I stuck a little GC and a candy bar in it for a friend.

That's a pretty cut file. Not sure if I have that one. Will have to check my Silhouette store files. Just updated to the latest Silhouette Studio software and haven't gotten used to the changes yet. Still trying to figure out where they moved things to and what's new in the software.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, i have cancer to ..

What a great gift or pick me up idea! Love the cut file and of course the image...Doodle Pantry has some AWESOME digis! My mom and my BFF are breast cancer survivors!

Such a sweet little bag! Not to mention, chocolate always brings happiness to others....well, it does to me anyway. I need to do something other than a card or maybe a fancy fold - been so inspired lately. Also, I like your new picture! You're a red head!!
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty. I like the scalloped edges!

Love it, Cely, and nothing is better than chocolate! Well, maybe being a BC survivor is better but chocolate runs a close second, as I can personally attest. :-D
ReplyDeleteWonderful cancer awareness card Cely, love the little scalloped bag. Cancer is a hateful thing, I have two family members fighting it right now, and so many who have left us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little bag and great reminder to go get a mammogram!
