....for a few days!
Our big move, emotionally and physically has arrived. After 29 years in this home, raising our boys, and making memories, it time for the next chapter in our lives.....watching the grandchildren grow, our young men spreading their wings and for Don and I to make new memories....just at a slower pace...haha
Our new house/cottage is a little behind schedule due to all the rain rain rain! We will be homeless for at least two months but finding refuge with family and friends.
I hope I can get my computer up and running in a few days if nothing else to visit blogs and comment.
Have a great week and wish us an easy move...haha
Exciting times...Hope the move goes well and you get in to your new cottage soon. Jx
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes smoothly in your move! Change is always scary and exciting and a time to renew and set new goals. Can not wait to hear how it all goes!
ReplyDeleteWe downsized a number of years ago and it was the best move we made. I wish you the very best and know in my heart that you will love your wonderful new home! If there is anything I can do for you during your transition, print and snail mail your images for the DP releases, let me know.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you! Can't wait to see the pics of the new house.
ReplyDeleteI wish you well with the move and new home, and all the displaced days ahead!! Try to enjoy your "free" time and remember that someday you'll be laughing about this!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new adventures before you get into your new home.
ReplyDeleteSee you when you get settled. :)

Yes that is bitter sweet and thank goodness for memories. How exciting to start off in a new place and make it your own and all how you want it. It's great to have friends to take you in. Can't wait to see photos of your new place and hope the rain stops and the workers can get back to work. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteOh the upheaval will all be worth it Cely....good luck and keep us posted!!!
ReplyDeleteSending good wishes for a smooth move and a speedy end to waiting for your new home to be finished :o)

Make sure you and hubby eat well and exercise to help deal with the stress. I'm sure you can find a Michaels or JoAnn's nearby anywhere you're staying to "pick up a few things" to occupy your time.
ReplyDeleteOR take the two months to do something completely different and then you can remember the time as The time I read all the Harry Potter books at once, or The time tried all the recipes in this one cookbook, or The time I wrote my memoirs . . .
Hope to see you around! Evelyn
Oh wow Cely! Life will be discombobulated for a few months for you. Hope everything goes smoothly from here on in!

Those of us stuck in the 3 year drought out here in California would love to trade all of your rain, rain, rain for our dry, dry, dry! Your new house would get finished much more quickly and our lakes and rivers would fill once again. Holding good thoughts for you, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm still catching up. I hope everything is going well and you are safe and dry.
