Carving Pumpkin Time

Okay...maybe not "quite" time! If you know me, I use one of my window cut files at least once a month.  I wanted to do a video and put a tealight behind the window so you could see how much fun this card can be, but I ran out of steam!

So many fun sets release this month at Doodle Pantry! Carving Ants is one of many. It may not be CAS but it was quick and easy.  I used my Cameo to cut out my window, and the P&C feature for the image.  Using the brick embossing folder, some dies and punches, it was done in a flash.

There's still plenty of time to join Doodle Pantry's September Challenge.  You will receive the Jingle Ant Set just for participating (of course follow the rules...haha) and a chance to win a wonderful gift certificate to the Doodle Pantry Store.

  2. This is ridiculous fun. I love it all the tattered shutter, the goopey green sludge, the pumpkin border, the spiders and of course the charming ants carving up that pumpkin. Too cute:)

What a great card with all the different elements. I especially love the window. I have a thing for windows on cards but I don't used them often enough. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep well and best of luck.
    Love this card.

  7. Fabulous! Love the black shutter, and that you kept the die negative in most of it, making it look crickety and "spooky"! Perfect for the season!

  12. There is so much I love about this card I don't know where to start! Your detail is fabulous! LOVE the dripping goo, the background paper, the brick exterior, and the broken shutter. I could go on and on. I love cards where you can slide an electric votive behind them. I've been wanting to do one again this year, but I haven't yet. This is great inspiration! Hope you are doing well. Hugs, Curt
