I was sooo excited to receive this Vintage Phone set as a gift from a cyber friend from Doodle Pantry. The image is from Doodle Pantry. Laurie has been doing some vintage scenes for the last several months which I adore. I also incorporated the Ant Accents...my "go-to" images. The cards are CAS but I wanted all the attention to go to the darling image.
I made 3 different card versions. I'm trying to make manly cards for an in-law to let him know my family is thinking of him especially during the next 6 weeks. I will try to send a card every 5 days.
Each card has a different metal embellishment...miss you, friends, and hello
A2 vertical, manly, old punch, Friend tag, stitching, copic shading |
A2 vertical, neutral, just different ribbon and tag, copic shading |
A2 vertical, feminine, copic shading |
Love your cards! Those ants are so cute. They are sure to make him smile.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE how you've incorporated the ants with the vintage phone image - you are so creative!
ReplyDeleteThese are precious! My first thought when I saw the title was of Lillie Tomlin as the phone operator saying "one-ringy-dingy". Too funny and definitely showing my age here! LOL! Love them all. The addition of the ants make them perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I love that number background paper on the top one - perfect for the phone!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this is the best! Love how you merged the two sets. What a superb set of cards.
ReplyDeleteSo fabulous! You already sold me on the doodle pantry sale yesterday - but I obviously missed this one! I too have been enjoying the new vintage images. LOL! Bean saw a 1960 car at HL and said "a vintage car. It must be from the 90's."
ReplyDeleteCely all 3 of these are adorable. I am trying to make lots of masculine birthday cards for deployed soldiers, so thank you for the inspiration!
